This is a very good DVD if you want to learn triumph. It includes the original by Dai Vernon as well as some amazing variations. I will go over each one briefly.
Original Triumph-The original. When the deck fixes itself the spectators are impressed, when the only card left face down is THEIR CARD they are speechless. This one is quite easy to learn and master. Difficulty: 5 Overall Rating: 7 Renegade-The easiest triumph on this DVD but still as good as the original. They choose a card, you cut the deck and the deck has fixed itself except their card. Difficulty: 3 Overall Rating:7 Colour Changing Triumph- One of the best on this DVD. Not only does the deck fix itself, the only one face down is their card, But their card is the only blue one-the rest of the deck is red!!! Difficulty: 6 Overall Rating: 8 Four Ace Triumph- You shuffle half the deck face up into face down. Instantly the deck fixes itself except for one...two...three...FOUR ACES! Personally i really like this one as it suits my style. Difficulty: 5 Overall Rating: 8 Emerge Triumphant- Personally i don't really like this one that much but it is still a great effect. The deck fixes itself, their card is the only one turned over, after loads of shuffles the deck if is (brand) new order! Difficulty: 7 Overall Rating: 7 Triumph Transportation- I also really like this one. You hold a mixed up deck, your spectator holds the fixed deck but instantly they transpose! Difficulty: 7 Overall Rating: 8 This DVD also teaches you a few sleight and false shuffles. Did this review help you?
I really liked this dvd by Oz. It gives you so many variations of a classic card effect. I liked all of them, including Renegade which is one of the best in the spectators hands street magic effects. I have performed it an it kills. Oz' emerge triumphant is really strong visual magic with a killer ending of the cards in brand new order.

Oz did it again; once again he shows his teaching skills and his ultimate way of really reaching out and helping magicians to learn.
Plus, this is a GREAT resource of Triumph material; many of these things aren't original to Oz but to have a catalog of all the good Triumph routines out there is invaluable. Well explained, practical HD goodness. You won't regret this. Did this review help you?

After watching this dvd I was able to amaze many of my friends. A lot of them were completely stunned and speechless. One of my friends screamed and threw the deck across the room when I showed them (then I was told by another friend to make them reappear in new deck order again). Overall amazing trick! Add to cart!

The review "Anonymous from UK on January 31st, 2010" is excellent, but I wanted to add another "thumbs up" for the Renegade Triumph. It looks slightly less elegant but no less magical, with an amazing payoff: it is incredibly easy, can be done entirely in the hands, and has a double kicker ending after the magic seems to happen right in the spectator's hands. It's a wonderful handling both technically and presentationally. The "sleight of hand" required seems so obvious you'll be glad the performance came first because not noticing it will be the only thing that makes you feel your spectators won't; and after a number of performances, nobody suspects a thing!
There are plenty of places to learn the classic routine (I would instead recommend "Michael Ammar - Easy to Master Card Miracles - Volume 1" which will also teach you a ton of other great classics at a lower price) but as someone who likes to affect a certain roughness or clumsiness anyway (which can be easily exaggerated with Renegade), I can't see going back after learning the Renegade handling. So at the end of the day, I feel like I bought this DVD for one new handling of a classic trick... but still don't feel unhappy about that. Having a powerful impromptu effect I can do anywhere, anytime, with a borrowed deck and no table, and almost no skill... that's a heck of a trick. Did this review help you?

strong magic that you can use for a long time and the teaching is good I love this I always perform this.some are a bit hard so it take a lot of practice but once you got it you'll never stop performing it.

I thought the DVD was excellent. I am semi disappointed for the reference from "the Magician and the Cardsharp." It says that in this DVD that there was a way that you could deal from the middle of the deck. This was just a trick showing you how you could semi deceive someone in thinking that you are. My hats off to Oz Pearlman an excellent magician.
