The idea is good but the gimmick is extremely cheap and it won't work for accomplishing this effect. The main problem is that everyone would ear the music, even from 30 feet away! I suspect that the clips on the video promo are accomplished with a different method. The instructions are very basic and you learn nothing more than what you already figure out yourself before buying it... If you are expecting to receive any tips or advise, you will be more than disappointed! I emailed the author about a gimmick issue but he never replied, even if he promise to answer all client's concerns on the instructions sheet.In other words, keep away from that way overpriced and unfinished effect.

Its really not that bad of an effect, I like the dual reality, but the song is a force. Thats the only bummer.

Wow, I wish the product lived up to the ad copy. Spectator can not think of any song. Mine arrived broken and appears very delicate. I wouldn't have the courage to perform this track without getting laughed at.

The idea of this effect is really interesting, but I feel that the marketing of the product is misleading as is the case with an unfortunate majority of magic on the market today. You can't have the spectator think of "any song." I was also slightly disappointed once I saw the gimmick which doesn't work reliably... Over all, the idea is really good but the quality of the product supplied falls short of the hype, making making this particular package overpriced...

I recieved it today, I open the box and when I see the gimmick I think... I paid 50 bucks for this thing?...Then I play the DVD and see a great routine, that´s why I put the 3 stars, playing a little with the idea I find that I can use other device as a gimmick, with a lot more options and better quality that the original one. Final word: Very good routine and a very cheap gimmick make a little overpriced this item.

Effect 9/10

One spectator is asked to remember any sensations they have and keep it to themselves and another spectator is asked to think of a song and project it. When the first spectator is asked to say what they felt or heard they will say the same song as the second spectator. Very cool and very simple.

Method 8.5/10

The method is simple and clever and I had an idea of how it was done. I will most likely improve on this method a little by changing the gimmick but I'll get to that later on. This is an old method but used with new technology and a semi new technique. It is a dual reality principle in a sense to some people but others it is true magic (you'll know what I mean)

Gimmick 8/10

The gimmick is very simple and one of those that can be passed off as something else if you have some misdirection. The price of the effect had me going the gimmick was close to state of the art but it's definitely not. The actual gimmick that achieves the effect is located in alot of stores and could be used for this effect, I am somewhat dissapointed by the price of this effect since nothing is crazy technical about this, but oh well.

Teaching 9/10

The teaching itself is just fine and you can really tell how young Alex is but then again I'm 17 so it's a w/e moment. He really goes over everything you will have a problem with, there was a slight problem with explaining the stage performance since he lost a certain something but doesn't take away anything significant. Very solid and overall very well done Alex.

Overall 8.5-9/10

I can't ever give a definitive overall score but that's alright because many people have their opinions. This would have easily gotten a 10/10 if it was about 30-35 bucks, but this should not take away from anybody purchasing the effect and having a miracle with them. Sometimes you don't always have two spectators but when you do this is definitely one of those effects you should perform.

I could tell that Alex put a lot of work into this. The DVD and everything else look very professional. It is a bit pricey, but I could tell that Alex was just trying to keep this out of the hands of amateurs. Alex also includes his e-mail address; I really like the fact that a magician is getting directly involved in his own product. Overall I really look forward to getting the presentation and the effect down, and am highly looking forward to performing this at my next show.

when you buy this and it arrives you WILL be disappointed.
trust me i bought it and after one time using my gimmick was broken and the effect isn't that great
