Great Beginner Book Report this review

This book is a really geared for the beginner. It starts off with some different palming techniques that are really helpful. Some of the routines are also great, but as it seems with books of this nature, some of the routines seem unimaginative. Another negative aspect of this book is that it is confusing because it is for dime & penny OR Scotch & Soda. And it is easy to get copper/silver/centavo/penny all confused. In the preface it is all explained; however it is still confusing. I just went through the book and penciled in the correct terminology. For a beginner, this book is good intro on what to do with coins and how to handle them. 3.5 of 5 stars.

I added this instead of the scotch and soda and the penny and dime trick thinking it came with the ability to do this trick. Boy was I wrong. Yes, I was disappointed because I know how to do the trick now, but I just can't. I now have to wait until my birthday in the summer to get those two tricks.

I personally don't like the book. It does give you ideas on some tricks to do with it, but i think it is not work the money. You should be able to make up some tricks with it. If you are looking for ideas on tricks to do with your coins though this can be a helpfull book. Depends on you.

This is a good guide to get you started I got the scotch and soda and experimented a lot before using the book, and I had fun with it. The book it helps, it's like the foundation. Unless you're very creative. For beginners I recommend to get the book.
