I just want to be clear about exactly what you are and aren't getting. You ARE getting the coolest James Bond utility device. Its super high quality and great for dong the trick portal. What you don't get is a way to make smoke come out of your mouth at any time. For the tricks I wanted it for its basically useless. I already knew warning by Daniel Garcia, and Brian Brushwood Scam School fans should recognize it too so being able to do Portal wasnt a big deal for me. In addition I am totally not the kind of person who would absent-mindedly [do the move], and although with portal there's good justification with most other tricks there isn't. For now it seems like its going to be relegated to being used for a gag in my fire eating routine, which is good but not $50 good. Hopefully I'll come up with a better use later....

First, this is a GREAT magic gimmick, and it should last a long time. I gave it 3 stars for lack of basic info.


How long does it take to fully charge, and how long will a charge last? Can you over charge it? Should you leave the battery connected when not in use? How many "smokes" per cartridge? Where can I get more cartridges? What brand is the gimmick? Why is there no forum for this?

WOW! The device was very clever. Alan is a very creative thinkers. I showed this to my friends and some random kids and they are all freaking out! The teaching is really easy to follow and to understand! But, this effect FAILED to pass my test. My father figured it out easily! He told me why put the bla.. bla.. bla.. Another thing is this trick will not work twice on the same person! It is obvious! It is up to you whether to buy this or not. But, I suggest you get Alan Rorrison's Night and Day DVD.

Well it's a good effect and nice gimmick but I'm disappointed they don't show in any of the previews some vital things you need to do in making this gimmick work

Its a great gimmick and fun! The only reason that I give it 3 stars is for the limitations on which you can use it. Its great for a personal 1 on 1 trick, but if your gathering a crowd, the risk of getting caught is very high! Mature audience members watch everything! And the loading of the smoke can be easily detected by a large group with a mature nature. Still fun though, and kids love it!

Just got it, many possibilities. Smoke (or Vapor) looks extremely cool coming out of your mouth. A little practice in the mirror (and vaporizing yourself) will stun people.

Came with plenty of cartridges, and thanks for the M&M's too. (I thought they were the 'gimmick' LOL).

yeah i'd have to agree with the guy below me(or above) that there is something about this trick that gets mediocre responses. i really like the portal route. the idea that someone can blow smoke into your hand or light a match under your hand and the smoke travels to your mouth but people kinda are like 'not bad' for the most part. try this. it got me better reactions. have someone draw a pipe or cigar and then 'smoke' it. that got me killer reactions.

the one and only' move' u have to do is very easy to do if you can just chill and chat with people for like 2sec. NO ONE has ever noticed that i did it over 30 times ive done this effect. the gimmicks so cool though. you're gonna like it when u see it for sure. so good. get creative with this. its crazy portable and small. you'll never notice you have this with you.

The trick is very easy to perform, it only requires the appropriate misdirection, i've gotten some great reactions just from playing around with it.
I personally don't like the portal routine that is taught on the DVD, but it easily explains how to use the gimmick and some other ideas and tips with coming up with your own trick. With a little creativity, I think you can create a killer routine around this.

Just astounding. It is so simple, and brilliant. No one will ever suspect the gimmick. It gets great reactions, and when performing it, you'll even feel amazing you self. It requires literally no setup, and no reset. Can be performed over and over in a row. Simply put, amazing trick.

Without a doubt this is the best smoke effect. It doesn't matter what you have used previously....this beats them all. The gimmick is top notch and the quality and quantity of smoke is amazing. Great for non smokers. The versatility of this effect is boundless. The value is tremendous. I'm very happy with this and feel lucky to have waited for this gimmick.
