I've always been a fan of Tony Clark's presentation-style. This effect really adds a comedy element and works great for stage----it's almost more of a gag than a trick. There is also a bonus trick (knife through sportsjacket) that also adds great comedy and works well for stage. It is a short DVD, but most everything is covered. My only suggestion would be a few more live performances with variations of the rope routine, if possible. Other than that, I am happy with the purchase-

Some good ideas on this DVD 4 stars because I find the routine a bit short and it could be played a lot more funny or longer. This is just performance style of course however this could have included a bit more. Overall it is a good escape that packs very small and could play big with some imagination.
Great training but need a different rope Report this review

The video here trains you perfectly for this effect. It takes a few minutes to get the knack of it, but you really can have anyone tie you up and you'll be in and out of it in seconds. There is a rope included, but I quickly ditched it in favor of regular rope as I had people thinking it was gimmicked because of how it felt. It seems more like a boat rope than regular rope, so it almost comes undone on its own after it's tied. Of course, the volunteer can see that as well so the challenge isn't there. Using regular rope can be a little tricky if you don't manage your volunteers right, but it ultimately pays off better. Tony's routine is very short, but if you add to it you'll have a great effect that can play for just about any size audience.
