Pure smoke is a great investment. Sure, it makes some noise, and it might scare you at first when
you are in your silent home and the device makes a little purr, but I have done this effect in even
relatively quiet places and it is by no means a problem. Sure, when you show someone the effect in a
dead silent room they will probably hear it. As Jason suggests, just turn on the radio or tv... its
not too hard to find a place with nice ambient noise (a restaurant is fine, the street is good, but
as long as there is, say, a conversation going on near you, you should be covered).
My only minor complaint is that the whole hook up is somewhat cumbersome--it is reminiscent of the "dresscode" setup in a way--but for the effect you get it is a steal. One cool thing about Pure Smoke is that it is not just a magic utility either. You can use it as a joke (like taking your friends phone and saying it is overheating as smoke comes from it) and it could be used for just about anything--like handing your business card to someone in a cloud of smoke. So I bought on it was great for the first 20 puffs except people said they could really hear the
moter oh slight down side IT STOPED WORKING I took it to a very high paying gig and I got nothing
but a tiny trickle of smoke on a new cartridge and battery's it suck look it it was 30 or 50 bucks
many but for 150 I want something reliable that will work 100% of the time I do not recommended it
penguin is the best magic site there is so much better stuff here to buy be ware!!

I recently bought "pure smoke", first of all, this gimmick is very well made, the sound it´s make
isn´t an issue, the smoke it´s create is awesome. But be aware that it isn´t supposed to be use,
for example, a colorchange. Of course you could, but honestly, how logical is that? The smoke should
have a natural reason, in my opinion.
The product is great, more than great, bought it, played around with it, loved it. You get a big pack of refills, around 800 "puff-of-smokes" and the dvd cover it all! If you need it, buy it! ;) Did this review help you?
I really like pure smoke I wish it was a bit more quiet but not a big deal I like the fact its safe
and non-toxic you can breath it in I gave it 4 stars not five just because I think its more of a
item but i love it!! :)

Ok well just got pure smoke, i absolutly love it its fun to play with but the thin metal on the heat
coil came off and now not a lot of smoke is coming out of my gimmick. What should i do

I really loved the trick I used all day and it was so cool the instructions are awesome and it
didn't overheat. it has a slight noise issue however but It can easily be fixed by a quick change of
batteries or environment the other complaint I have is that the next day it didn't work thankfully
penguin is helping me get a new one other than that it's perfect

This is a very nice effect to perform to make your magic even more magical. It is perfect in
combination with color changes or e.g. thought exchange through touch.
I deducted one star because of the noise. It is not really obvious and spectators will most likely ignore it. However, it has made me a bit uncomfortable while performing. Using the smoke outside is a good alternative, but you must be absolutely sure there is no wind, otherwise the smoke will evaporate quickly and have no effect at all. The hook up is dead simple but one star one star off for the noise it makes.

Sorry for my bad english. This product is not good for me. It does really noise and is difficult to
cover even though you put the television, does not serve for close-up magic. Do not buy it if your
intention is to do close-up magic. It would be perfect if it was not make any sound, but
unfortunately it is a very noisy device. Only it serves for stage magic or magic with very high
music.
