Don't forget to pick up a close-up pad. It'll come in handy for Card Artistry!

Card Artistry COMPLETE by Justin Flom (DVD + BOTH Gimmicks) The BIGGEST, most artistic card revelation we've ever seen. ONLY A FEW LEFT. ORDER SOON. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
In stock: usually ships within 24 hours!
Justin Flom’s “Card Artistry” is an unexpected revelation of a selected card in which the magician turns the deck into a famous painting (or if you prefer, a brain-scan image). It’s the rarest kind of magic effect: it captures the imaginations of both magicians and audiences. Evoking a comparison of magician as artist, the performer “paints” his deck of cards into a four-by-four card mosaic of the Mona-Lisa. The spectator’s selection appears in the painting! Inspired by a great Chris Kenner effect, “Card Artistry” is full of touches by professional performer Justin Flom.

Bought it. Love it.
The video production and explanation included with the apparatus is excellent. Also appreciate the extra gimmicks they threw in. Nicely done. Did this review help you?

Card Artistry is a very good trick, but two things should have been mentioned in the advertising.
First, a magician's close-up pad needs to be used (or have avaible a surface that acts the same
way). Many people purchasing this trick will not have a pad and will need to invest in one.
Second, one needs to faro shuffle the deck. It's a "simpler" faro shuffle than others, but it still
is needed. That may be a challenge for some. With those two qualifications, I give Card Artistry 4
stars -- it's a crowd-pleaser!

I've seen Justin do this trick in person, a couple of times. What makes it so great is that the
magic and the patter come together at the very last second, when the card is finally revealed.
Before that moment, the spectators don't quite know what's going on. But when the card is finally
revealed in the picture, the spectators are not only fooled; they get that 'a-ha!' moment where
everything leading up to the magical moment now makes sense.

Just got card artistry yesterday. Blew people away with it last night. Is there anything surprising
in the case? No. This is one time you get exactly what you think you're getting,no more,no less.
However for a card reveal, this is about as unique as it gets. Two seperate pictures, four total
reveals, fits with almost any deck, and the artwork is amazing. You will need a card mat, and a
little time to practice painting,(easy), but so worth it.Highly recomended.

theres rarely many things that im blown away by that when i recieve and perform that trick i have
the same feeling as when i 1st saw it. this doesnt fail to impress. some tricks ive purchased i see
the gimmick or learn how to do it and think, "get the heck outta here. im never going to use
this."
i will be using this as often as i can but you might need to buy a close up pad. a fairly large one too... dvd is short but production quality is high. gimmicks look really really good. im very impressed with this. Did this review help you?

Cool and unique trick. Easy to do. However, will need some practice on the Farrow shuffle to get it
right.
Just one comment on the instructional DVD... the camera movement and the focus. Sometimes the camera has some focusing issues could be quite distracting. All in all an awesome product. Did this review help you?

Even though this trick is pushing $50 after shipping... if you have a steady gig somewhere, it might
be worth the investment. If you are just a magic tourist, I would say save your money...
It was a lot easier than I thought, which makes me like it even more and the principle can be applied to other things (Use your imagination) The video was very good overall and I plan on using it a lot. So in a nut shell, it's a little pricey, but at least it is good and you won't feel let down like other tricks in the same price tier. Good Job Justin! PS.. PLEASE RELEASE THE VETERANS EDITION!! Overall, this effect is great.
I have a few things I feel I need to address, however. First of all a close up mat is required to perform this trick, and is not included. I purchased the largest mat I could find/wanted to pay for which was 14x18. After the reveal there is barely enough room for the rest of the deck to be spread. Not a big deal, I mean it works, but it would have been nice to have a suggested mat size or something, so you don't have to just hope the mat is big enough. Also the mat makes the cards really stick to the surface which is what creates the effect, but it also makes it hard to remove them without revealing something. Second, without revealing anything, when the gimmick is in the deck it is not hard to spot. That being said, most spectators would not really be looking for it. It can be hidden by simply holding the deck carefully, but it makes me self conscious of the fact you can see the gimmick. One more thing, one of the reveals requires there to be a duplicate card in the deck, now this might sound like nitpicking, but its possible for a double to be spotted. Now on to the positives! This effect is so visually amazing, nobody expects what happens when you start "painting." The gimmicks are beautifully made. I purchased both the brain scan and mona lisa and I love the fact that you can reveal multiple cards, so you can do the same effect with a different result. Justin's teaching is very good, and thorough. He taught a simple force that is really easy and I will be using with several other routines. I have never been good at Faro shuffling(I'm getting better), and I really don't do a proper Faro, but it still doesn't affect the trick, and Justin relieved my anxiety over that. I know this is long winded but I wanted to say how much I love this trick. The positives, and the actual reveal itself completely out weigh any of the negatives. I am not quite at a point where I would be confident performing this for anybody other than the mirror, only because it's really an awesome effect and I don't want to screw it up even once! Overall great trick, I recommend it to anyone willing to invest the time and extra money. Definitely spend the extra 5 bucks and get both gimmicks, it's worth it to have the variety. Not a bad force card reveal trick. I get both reveals that included an alternate force card reveal
for several options in case you did it again in the same crowd of people. The video was really
short. It shows how to do it and is to the point. The ferrel of the cards was not well explained
but i got it on my own over time. A great trick but i think is over priced for what you get and why
i knocked it down a star. Overall not bad and gets a great reaction.
