Yes,simple it is,and a clever gimmick. However it does need a fair amount of slieght of hand and certainly some lengthy practice which is not explained in the advertising of this trick.Perhaps not a trick for beginners at least.

What a fantastic item to carry around. It does take a little practice, but it is something that you could create an endless number of routines, from the simplest with little or no sleight of hand to something more complex. the seemingly VERY young magician Jeff Prace obviously put a lot of thought into this and came up with something very good. Congratulations to you, Jeff! Before it came, I had a thought that I knew what it was going to be and started to have second thoughts about whether I should have ordered it. It is nothing like what I thought, it is so clever, and I love it! Thank you.

minimal practice required but doesn't work out of the box
Good price, good materials but something seems to be lacking! Report this review

As I say in the title, I like the concept, the gimmick and other materials that come with the DVD. Jeff also teaches an extra trick with cards that is lovely (production of four aces).
However, having performed this effect for a number of friends and family, people are distinctly underwhelmed.
They do not see me doing any 'tricky' moves (so it is unlikely that the problem is about technique so much). Rather, they come to the only logical conclusion about how the trick must work- and are of course right!
I will continue to work on this one to see if I can find ways to be more fooling, as I do like the concept and materials.

Jeff Prace has come up with a nice key and key ring transpo
paper crane has produced a cool & clean gimmick to get the work done and the dvd is well shot and produced...the only reason I have given this 4 out of the 5 star rating is that young Mr. Prace has ran through the teaching of this trick like he was as he states "out on the streets in Chi-town " no body was chasing him , and a lil' slower pace would have much more impact in teaching the effect (imho)and once you get the step by step down...it's the performers speed that would "make the effect your own " from a Chi-town Burb' magi...this Da bomb !
In my drawer Report this review

The reason I wanted this trick was to keep something practical in my keychain. This is not that type of trick. I don't mind the practice, and the slight of hand, my problem with it was the bulkiness. It will have to stay in my drawer, and make an ocasional appearance when I don't mind taking it out. I will take it out however, because the effect is just great. I'll probably use it with people close to me who have seen a lot of magic. It will not go to any of my professional repertoires.

I just watched the explanation and these are my first impression thoughts on it. As other commentators have stated, you will need to practice this quite a bit before performing it. One of the moves is kind of "knacky". I didn't care for his presentation, but that's of no consequence as I usually change the supplied patter with my own. I think it's worth your consideration. I am eager to try out this one.

This is very similar to Jay Sankey's Killer key. Different routine and changes but very similar. The gimmick here is so expertly crafted I want to know who made them. The video could be better, but he shows you exactly what you need to do and the moves are as easy as it gets. One move is a little angle sensitive but not too bad. You could do this surrounded if you're aware of your surroundings. Just hold your hands close to your body for that one move and no worries. You will see what I mean if you buy this. The price is a little steep so I got it in the cool box. But the trick is great. :)
