Guys, this is one of the most amazing lectures i bought from Penguin.

I DIDN'T KNOW MR. FARQUHAR UNTIL NOW.

This lecture is good for the effects and good for the tips that he gave us. So good tips for all level magicians.

This is one of the videos that make me clap my hands in almost all effects.

2 great advices he give us during the lecture are:

- DON'T RUN IF NOBODY IS CHASING YOU!
- EFFECT OVER METHOD !

Buy this lecture and you will understand what I am telling.

To the effects:

- Matrix express. Go to Penguin and see the video. I already know methods of coin matrix, but this is totally different. This matrix is for us magicians. Fool magicians with this kind of matrix. At the end of the video he also explains how to construct the gimmick. But guys, support this man. So clever effect that you should buy this from him.

- Coin across. An incredible easy method. At the end, you use the same gimmick of the first effect to end up clean. So good that you need to see. He tolds that the props comes with the Matrix Express.

- Next effect has 3 phases: oil and water, triumph, and from this point he begins using triumph to separate the colors and the suits. So clever method.

- CD / DVD effect. I liked so much this principle. You can predict an random selected film in an cd that is between the hands of the expectator.

Despite that, he gave more 2 bonus ideas with this same principle

If was only this would be enough, but he didn't stop there.

- The next effect is an invisible deck. When i heard this, i thought with myself : "Oh guy, another 20 minutes of invisible deck". Man, this is really amazing. He uses the invisible deck with the omni deck principle. I never saw this. He also explains what to do if someone caught you with the gimmick in your hand (something that he said never happened to him).

- After that, a version of the trick that fooled Penn and Teller. If you don't saw this, look at YouTube and you will be amazed. He teaches a similar version. Only a different thing about that. You need to see this.

At the end of this trick, he gave a bonus that WORTH'S THE VALUE OF THE VIDEO.

After this he begins with the tips for all levels of magicians.

Before ending, he shows more 2 tricks:

- Torn 2. Again, see the preview here. Fist time i saw an torn and restore with an photo. So fluid. The method is so simple and ingenious.

- The last thing he showed was an effect with an kind of Mullica pocket wallet. It's a little different and he says he plans to release this. You will be able to load the card in an different and visual way.

Guys, from now on this will be an magician that I will follow.

Shawn is such a creative magician and it is a pleasure to have a little insight into his mind. He shows some great effects and his deck switch is simplistically beautiful! Highly recommend this lecture and his advice on EFFECT over METHOD is very much worth listening to.
I love these live lectures and each one delivers and then some! And for the price you really do get your moneys worth. Keep them coming penguin! (May i suggest a David Stone lecture please!) Oh and Shawn please hurry up on releasing Signed card into sealed box!!

This lecture gave me the foothold to start taking magic more seriously. I'm now gearing up for my first gig, a wedding in December where I will be using at least two of the effects taught in this lecture. Thank you so much Shawn for doing this.

Thank you Mr. Farquhar for your impressive lecture! He showed very interesting DVD-trick variations, MatriXPress with a gimmick that can be used in other conceptions and many other things.

The restrained applause of the audience was very annoying. Obviously many of the audience-members consumed tricks but was not able to appreciate the magical substance of Farquhar’s lecture.
Despite this Mr. Farquhar shared for the first time his Penn&Teller-Fooler. This showed not only Mr. Farquhar’s generosity but also his deep love of magic.

Shawn gives tons of great advice here as well as sharing the methods behind several of his WOW tricks.

I highly recommend this video to anyone who wants to add a show-stopper or just some polish to a routine.

Great lecture. You'll be dissappointed if you only download this for his Penn and Teller effect but some of the stuff teached is realy good and very well explained. What I like very much is that Shawn obviously is not the best sleight of hand worker there is, everyting should be 'do-able' for everybody. Effect over method ! Wise words.

Shaw is one of the best magicians I have seen in a long time. All the tricks he teaches are amazing, all of the tricks are for any one who likes magic so for what ever level you are at, I have got so much out of this lecture and a lot of it is going straight in to my repertoire. The only down side to this lecture is that for one of the tricks you have to buy the DVD so you can't do the tricks straight away!! But apart from that I think it was AMAZiNG

Shawn Farquar's lecture is great. I'm doing the Omni Deck all the time now. The stories and advice are invaluable. Loved this lecture!
