This is the biggest piece of junk ever! Do not waste your money on it. 2 days have gone by and im still trying to get glue off finger! Want a refund!

Maybe it's me, but I found the "main" method behind stitched to be disappointing. I don't see how you could perform this close-up unless you use the alternative method which does not leave you clean.

I was not impressed at all...

The gimmick looks cheap and unrealistic.

Ok,to be completely honest, the concept of this is great. The gimmick itself is rather disappointing in my opinion. Placement of the gimmick is limited and the set up has the potential to cause issues(getting snagged or breaking).Also,regardless of how careful you are of constructing the gimmick,it can easily be spotted by a spectator if they look too closely.

The DVD itself is quite good in giving alternate methods of using the gimmick. It's best used with a PK ring instead of the original method,because it is much cleaner looking.

The gimmick can be improved upon,but the concept itself has great potential.

A lot of bad reviews stem from the quality of the materials provided for the gimmick. I think what Alex Kolle intended was to provide standardised gimmicks that can be easily customised to fit each individual's requirements, and at the same time provide convenience so that one can immediately start making the gimmick without having to source for materials outside.

With that being said, that is also its downfall. The ideal materials are what you already 100% have lying around at home. But it takes a lot more effort and time to make it. Penguin includes a brilliant, ingenious step-by-step guide that really validates a re-release. If you're willing to put in the effort, this can potentially be one of your best purchases. Wear and tear actually makes the gimmick look better so there's no need to worry about replacements - something that the DVD comes with anyway.

I would love to give you a quick review of stitched! The effect that you see on the demo is almost exactly what it looks like in real life. You will recieve a very well made dvd that has Alexander teaching you the effect wounderfully, and the matierials to make 2 gimmicks. It takes about 10 minutes to make a gimmick and you can make it look however you want in order to fit your style, it even supplies the glue! there are also about 8 different handelings using the gimmicks and each one is equaly great, the spectators won’t ever figure it out. if your worried about making your own gimmick, then dont be! You will have no problem mking the gimmick at the same speed that it is tought at. Also, you can use the same gimmick on almost any kind of leg wear, not just jeans. the gimmicks that you make will last years, even if the get worn down they just work better. if you get to a point that you don’t like your gimmicks any more, then you can get all of the things you need at the local dollar store. Stitched is by far one of my best purchases. oh, and one last thing, the reactions on this are UNBELIEVABLE!, without a dought you will love this effects ease of use, visual aspects, and the method(s) will make you smile, for beginners and pros stitched is one heck of a must buy!

I'm a server at a restaurant and do strolling magic for private parties and banquets on the side. this trick i use everyday and i always close with it at my tables when i drop their final bill off.. if you take time with the gimmick it looks flawless and have troubleshot two problems i ran into only regarding my uniform i have to wear that's why the 4stars other then that its a great offbeat stunner

The thing with this affect is its very clever. and personally I believe it's best done impromptu. You can walk around with the gi***ck in place all day and then just casually pull off a miracle in a moment's notice.

The gi***ck must be made and it takes a bit of work. Personally I would suggest a tiny bit of scrap jeans material instead of whats provided. My gi***ck is so good it fools me.

The DVD teachers several message to accomplish the actual effect. I use the original message and it never fails to get huge reactions from the audience. If you don't mind putting a little bit of effort into making a gi***ck send this truck will be a blast.

don't get me wrong the effect is brilliant but the gimmick must be made which is a tedious process and when in place looks ridiculous. I was soo dissapointed after watching the dvd as it cant me performed close up unless you use the alternate handling which is in iteslt risky.

i reccomend buying something else

I like Stitched and the DVD was very complete and easy to follow. There is know were to order more supplies like Items that come with the DVD. I would like to order a backup kit less the DVD but there does not seam to be anywhere to order it.
