You show a blank card that is attached to a lanyard around your neck. You ask a spectator to choose, and sign, any random playing card from a deck. The spectator then places their signed card inside a card box. You tell them that you will make their signed card vanish. However, when you open the card box there is still a card inside.

You then explain that their card did in fact vanish and you show them that the card inside the card box is blank. You then remind the spectator that at the beginning you showed them a blank card attached to the lanyard around your neck. When you turn this card over, it is their signed card. Everything is examinable.

When I first received it, I thought "I could have figured that out." However, after watchin the DVD, I really like the way they structured it and their handlings. They teach a couple different handlings, both very good. I like the first one the best, the same one as shown in the demo video. I also really like that the card is a signed card and a nice souvenir. I would suggest that you could end the effect by dating and adding your own signature to theirs and handing it out as a souvenir. I learned from another Penguin DVD (can't remember which), to have them write their name just below your finger (toward the top of the card). Then, at the end of the effect, you write a comma after their name, write a brief note (I write "Make your life magical" or "May your life be magical") and sign your name below. Now they go away with a nice souvenir with a personalized inspiration from you.

he biggest flaw with card to wallet is that it's introduced long after the effect has begun.

FICKLE has taken the plot of "signed card to impossible location" to new heights. You show them a blank faced card attached to the clasp of a lanyard around your neck. You have them sign the face of a playing card and place it into the playing card box.

Magic takes place! Inside the card box is a blank face card and hanging from the lanyard is their signed card. A miracle has taken place.

Rising star Chris Webb teaches Simon Jacobs' SCEURE with all the nuances to make this an effect that you can perform anywhere.

I like your trick. I have to practice it just a little bit more, I have a little trouble getting the switch right. It is an AWESOME trick though.
