I received this DVD after much anticipation and have to say that I have already given it to a
magician friend of mine (who after watching it hates it also). This is something that requires
soooooo much set up and certain limitations to how and when it can be performed that I would never
use it. I know there is a lot of anticipation for this trick, but you may want to think twice before
investing your $30 in this trick. If I could do it again, I would spend it on something else on
Penguin

Was really excited by this but was SOO disappointed... If like me you wanted to go to the bar and do
the cup filling up with smoke, then you will need to whip out your close up mat before performing,
which kind of kills the magic moment.

Very disappointing.. i can't reveal what makes it so disappointing but i can say that you wont use
this. There is way too much setup and the possibilities are very limited. Only by watching the intro
of the DVD i already decided not to even spend money on making the gimmick.

This is ONLY good if you do alot of magic on a close up mat cant say why with out revealing the
method but i cant stress enough how much you need a mat, there is one "bonus variation" where it
isnt in a mat but thats not so good. Im sure you can come up with a few hookups your self but i dont
like this. Had higher hopes for this

This is the second time I have tried to post a review for this trick, so hopefully this one will
show up. I have ordered thousands of magic tricks over the years, and I cant remember the last time
that I was as excited about receiving this one. However, I can also say that I have never been as
disappointed as I am with this purchase. There is absolutely way too much set up and this is not
practical at all. Trust me, you will never ever use this. I had such high hopes for this.
Unfortunately, this is going in the drawer.

I have ordered A LOT of magic over the years, and I have not been as excited as I was about this DVD
in a long time. I will never use it. After watching the DVD, there is absolutely WAAAAY too much set
up!! He does teach how to do this standing up, but most of it has to be done with a table or sitting
down. Trust me, I wanted to like this and was definitely wanting to use this. Unfortunately, neither
are true. I will be putting this in the drawer. So disappointed

It look great on the tv, very disapointed, mr,fism act though will be beter.. been doing magic for
long time and if youre a magician rest worker or walk around this will not work for you i agree the
gimick for 40 bucks or so like he say, but very dificult to conceal or do in real life, not
recomended save your money , poor editing dvd he drops all the props, all the time and dont explain
all the trailer, like everybody does in theyr dvds,if you like SMOKE from anywhere, there better
products out there...

Yup the preview looks good, but to me it let me down so much. It's like when you buy a TV at an
electronic store. It looks good at first, but when you get home you got to set up this, do that, buy
this, buy that. Just to make it look as good as it was at the store. Same here. Theres just too much
set up. It has its perks for use on a close up mat, but those are very limited as well. I do lots of
stroll around magic and i thought this "gimmick" would allow me to produce smoke without having such
a gumbersome "gimmick." on me. If I wanted to use a "gimmick" like that I would go back to an older
version of a smoke "gimmick" that used to be out there. Sorry, Shim Lim is a great magiacian, but
this one was a let down. If I could go back. my money would've been spent on something else on
Penguin.

I believe that this effect could be amazing if some links were adjusted. I did however like the
method that uses no close up pad,except for the part where if you do it you have a buldge in your
shirt,unless you make a super small "gimmick" I was very excited about this trick but unfortunately
let down. I will say it's a great idea and effect but not for me. I got it from a local dealer
early. I do love that Shin provides a PDF on the DVD so you can get all necessary parts with links.
I hope to like this and it is a worker.

Shin shows you 3 technically 4 variations of using sss but please do not think sss is some portable
multi tasking new to the market device. There are 5 variations and actually 4 different gimmicks.
The reason I found the trailer rather misleading is because yes you can perform surrounded... But
only with one variation. Yes you can perform it sleeveless... But only with one variation. All the
variations but 2 which are both very similar seem to be the big idea between sss and these are not
sleeveless and one of them you can't be surrounded, both of them really and these 2 variations use a
magicians mat. The other 2 variations are more of a lecture note or bonus and shin doesn't really
recommend these variations. The DVD was not really good, he mumbled a lot and repeated things and
things like that and the DVD could have been much shorter. The gimmick is not something new, this
DVD just shows you how to make your own gimmick and different ways of using it. Shin needed to spend
more time making the DVD and that's it actually, people are disappointed because it is not what you
expect. Remember this, shin is showing you how to make your own pure smoke for only and different
variations and that's pretty good for !!! That is why I give it an extra star and liked it.
