The Spellbinding Boxes are a true marvel of magic. A spectator�s signed coin is placed under a handkerchief and then held by the spectator.

So, I bought (and reviewed) this back in 2006. I still love this effect!
But, as I was going through "My Penguin Magic" discussion section and came across an EXCELLENT idea from somone that takes this to a new level!! I can't reveal it here but you can add something to these to make it a stronger, additional effect! Otherwise, this is an EXCELLENT effect for beginner magicians and expierenced (IMO). I am not an expierenced magician at all. I like to perform tricks for friends, family and freinds of
my kids (11 and4). I am also in the Army and use this one a lot! Just don't go to Korea for a year
and leave it where your 4 yr old can get his hands on it and lose part of the trick!!! I am going to
order another one of these because of this. On to the trick. Easy to learn. Great reactions. Can
perform it in a variety of ways. You will see what I mean when you purchase and have access to the
forum. I love it because the brass boxes themselves have a great feel to them and people love
handling them and finding a coin it them at the end. Buy this trick! Well worth the money!!! Once
again, Penguin has done a great job with the explanation video on this as well! And don't forget;
they will match any price out there. remember you get the video demo here. I have yet to see that

Here is a really really amazing piece of magic. Ask for a coin, have them sign it, hold it in your
hand and it vanishes. It would be an OK trick if it was just in your pocket. Ok, big deal. But
inside of a container? A little bit better. But once you start opening box after box you'll see them
getting a little more freaked out each time. This trick is actually very easy to perform and doesn't
even require a lot of practice.

The demo fooled me big time! So as soon as I could afford it I got hold of this trick. It is indeed
a powerful little trick and I love performing it because it is pretty easy.
The one downside is that it takes up a fair bit of pocket space which, as a walkaround magician, I don't like. But if pocket space isn't an issue in your performances/environment then theres no reason you shouldn't get this trick. Did this review help you?

As a beginner in magic this was one of my first tricks. It was demonstrated extremely well and took
a very short time to become profecient (I like quick and easy). It always gets a big reaction. I
wuld recommend it highly. However, over a period of time the gimick loosened up and just the other
day broke. Hopefully I can get another gimick without totally purchasing the entire trick again.

This trick is absolutly stunning, and its so versitile, you could use it with close up, street, and
when your busking, I use this with my sponge balls, by making the coin *appear* from a spongeball,
then let the boxes take care of the rest.

Hello there! First off, I had a plastic version of this, and it used a different coin vanishing
method. I did not purchase this product from Penguin Magic, but I have the same exact ones! It is
excellent! Plus, Penguin's comes with the devil's hanky, in which mine didn't! I highly suggest
this! I mean, how can a coin vanish, and re-appear inside 4 boxes, is what our specs will definitely
be asking! 5 stars, excellence, buy it!
