Carpenter's Nightmare is a very visual nail bend. The nail you show them is clearly straight unlike some other bend effects. Then with no effort at all the nail is bent and handed out for inspection. The handling of the trick is very natural looking too. You'll need to practice in front of the mirror to do it properly so that it looks good.

I love this trick. I wanted to slap my self because how easy it is. I use to Bat to ditch the gimmick. No one can figure it out. People called me a freak :). But its a bit pricey though. Nifty trick.

When i first got it i was SOOO dissapionted like many were. When given a chance and a little practice this effet is one of my most popular at school and family. Cant be done twice with the same person only because the set up cant be done in their face, it is quick but will give it away. I love it! Over all A-

I give it a four for the effect for the effect is amazing and would kill anyone. It is just too expensive. I could make the trick for a lot less.

I just got this trick. I love it. It's so cool, but it is a little hard to ditch the gimmick, but I use the Pro PK Kit to ditch the gimmick.

I purchased Carpenter's Nightmare, and didn't lay it down from the moment I opened the package. Menny Lindenfeld made a great job, both in designing the package and in the clear and simple instructions provided. I LOVE THE EFFECT! I don't stop performing it every chance I get. Superb.

My favorite kind of magic trick is one that has a mind-blowing effect and doesn't require practice to a point that you get bored with it. This is just such a trick. I had this one down and polished in 20 mins. It has the same effect as seeing the spoon scene in the movie "The Matrix", but for real!

It's an awesome effect when you can learn the moves right. I was frustrated at first, but then I went over the instructions again and I started to get it. It took me about 45min to get it all down and look proffesional about it. It's a great street magic trick. Just like the add says easy and quick set and reset. Totally impromptu. It is great. It seems too obvious, not to mention that you cloud make one for yourself in a couple of minutes. I suppose that certain laypeople might be surprised by this, but not my crowd.
