Pinnacle of rubber band magic

In my opinion, this is as good as it gets for rubber band magic. Link a borrowed ring on and off of
a rubber band, which can also be borrowed, not once but twice. This is extremely visual and has the
advantage of utilizing something that is important to the spectator. If you want something that
packs small and play big, this is it.

Hi. This is your official PenguinMagic reviewer, B_Magic.
Pinnacle Ring and Band is a good resource for Crazy Man's Handcuffs and a totally miraculous way of performing the effect. I give this DVD 3 stars because I found the teaching to be frustrating at times, and some of the effect was just difficult to do (in part because of the poor teaching at times). That said, it is well worth the money invested into a great trick, you just may have to watch the DVD several times to fully understand what is being explained to you. It really is a killer effect though! B_Magic Did this review help you?

This is so cool. Spectators freak out. I do this all the time! I would definately recommend it.
So why only four stars? It lost a star because Russ is really annoying the way he teaches, though
he covers the material well. Also, the miracle finish is horrible. You can' do it with a borrowed
ring and it isn't examinable at the end. But except for that, this is a great routine and no
magician should not know how to do it.

Great for Impromptu

I am not one to write reviews, but felt this effect warranted it. I have been doing Quantum Bandits
for awhile with two rubber bands, and was looking for something I could routine with Quantum
Bandits. I am also always on the lookout for great impromptu stuff. Pinnacle fits the bill on both
accounts. I will admit the DVD was not the best instruction, with some of the angles being difficult
to see, but sticking with it for a few days and being persistent will help the moves "come" to you,
and the fingers will soon remember what to do. Whether or not you are into rubber bands, this is
great impromptu stuff. Ring is borrowed, and a rubber band is just a rubber band. Devote the time to
this that it deserves, and you will be ready to "do a trick" at any time.

This is a pretty good trick. Crazy Man's Handcuffs is a much better trick, at a much better price.
You can use the sleight for Crazy Man's Handcuffs with a ring, which is also very effective. I
always get an excellent response with Crazy Man's Handcuffs. With Pinnacle, people can usually tell
that there is some sort of sleight of hand going on, but they just can't figure it out. Crazy Man's
Handcuffs looks like a true miracle. If your into rubber band magic, then this is a good trick to
add to your performance. But get Crazy Man's Handcuffs first, if you don't know it already.

I use this almost daily along with some Cray Man's Handcuffs. Highly recommended. I mastered the
moves and routine in almost a day. I love it!

Wow! I purchased this DVD about a week and a half ago. I didn't actually begin working on the
routine until a little less than 24 hours ago and I have darn near mastered the technical aspects of
it already. That's no exaggeration either. I would say I have put in maybe 3-4 hours total
practice and it is coming as naturally as anything I've done previously. Obviously with anything
there is a learning curve, however it doesn't take much to get the knack of this one. I honestly
don't know why so many people have stated in their reviews that this routine is so difficult (and
please note I am NOT a professional performer). Perhaps these folks just haven't put in much time
practicing it yet. As far as the miracle finish is concerned, the routine is just about perfect
without it. Further, everything is examinable AND RETURNABLE (i.e., the spectator's ring) afterward
if you omit the miracle finish. I personally like the routine better without it. Besides, Russ says
this finish should really only be used for special occasions anyway. I happen to agree. Any way
you slice it, this is an outstanding routine that I will be using for years to come. If you want a
VERY magical looking and impromptu piece of magic to perform (even if this is the only piece of
magic you do), you would be hard pressed to find anything that fits the bill as well as this one
does. In my humble opinion, it ranks right up there with the Crazy Man's Handcuffs (and we all know
what Michael Ammar says about that one!). The price is great too-- about as much as you'd pay for
your next movie on DVD at Best Buy. I can't recommend Pinnacle enough. P.S. Who is this
Niedzwiecki guy and where has he been? Between this and Just Passin' Thru, he's come up with some
fantastic material. Nicely done Russ.

This trick is very hard to do, but is great. You could do it anywere you go if you are a street
magican or any kind of magician. Good buy.

This is one of those tricks that if you do it right, the reaction is HUGE! But, if you make a little
error, it might not look so good. All in all the trick is great, but it requires a lot of practice.
The only problem is that the Miracle Finish (which is completely optional) is a BIG disappointment,
for me at least. I highly recommend this DVD for any close up magician.

As long as you take the video step by step the moves will even be easy for a begginer. For a pro you
can't get a better routine than this. Can be done anywhere with almost any ring and any rubberband.
Fully examinable before and after. Thank you.
