I have to retract something I just wrote in a previous review and that was the price I paid for it I
just looked it up and realized I got the set for free with the purchase of Sal Piacente double DVD
on the shell game and three card monte. The total price for the DVD's and the shell's were $59.00.
The set looks exactly the same as the Magnetic Golden Balls and I'm pretty sure it is. The only
thing I didn't like a about were the horizontal lines or ribs which I call on it. I just found it
hard to pick them up and get a grip. Other than that and the ridiculous price tag it's great

You are paying for the quality of the gimmicks, which are well worth the money. They will last a
lifetime and are beautifully crafted. however, i am not a big fan of the overall routine as a whole,
hence the 3 stars

You've always wanted to learn the Cups & Balls but never really had the time? Then get the Golden 3
Shell Game instead! The same idea but much easier to master! However, I recommend you to get some
kind of mat for the ultimate magic experience.

I was very disappointed with the performance of the shells. The back edge is too flat, which makes
the 'move' far too tough. Luckily, I have some plastic shells at home, which do a far better job.
The good news is the dvds that come with it. Whilst Piacente is clearly a twit, there is enough advice on the two dvds to make up a good few routines for the shells and monte alone. Did this review help you?
This is a very good trick, and a good way to fool people. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that you
have to practice to make sure the audience doesn't see you picking up the pea. All in all, it is a
very good trick.

I have the Golden Shells and the Perfect Shells.
The Golden Shells are a good collectible, but performance wise, not that great. they are slippery. If you are a fan of the 3 shell game then get these ones. Also, the Golden Shells are harder to perform on a slick surface, unlike the perfect shells which can be performed on slick surfaces. I would say save 40 bucks and get the perfect shells! I liked the shells. People are amazed. You can be very clever and do whatever you want with them.
People who see the trick are completly amazed. My only gripe is that it is a bit expensive for what
it is. Though it is the perfect set up for the game( great shells and nice peas) It would be a
better choice for you to buy the combo with 3 card monte(sal picante, 3 shells(sal picante) and 3
golden shells and peas by penguin. Great product though, I am satisfied.

I got this trick, and I LOVE IT! it takes about 30 minutes of practice before you can really get it
down, but it is really easy and no one catches it. The only problem is where they pack the peas when
they ship it, I opened the box, and they were not there, but somehow I missed them and they were on
the floor... but that's not a complaint, just be careful of the peas.

Sorry to Penguin, this is my new review for this golden shell, I gave average rating because there
wasn't instructional video for this ultimate shells and I have to say this is 5 stars now because
the instructional video is clear and easy to master the sleight, and as far as I am concerned this
is better than any other shells in the market which is more expensive but less efficient for certain
move like "kick steal" and there is more valid reason why golden shells is the best!
