Pins and Needles isn't your average Russian Roulette. First of all, it's funny! Until it becomes shocking! This mix of comedy and sudden drama will guarantee your audiences will be highly entertained!

Most effects in this plot tend to use disposable items, such as cups or bags, making them impractical for a close-up or walk-around scenario. Pins and Needles was created for this exact environment!

This 8 page, illustrated PDF teaches the full presentation and script, as well as an insanely practical method to the Russian Roulette plot, allowing you to stay in complete control the entire time.

Effect:

The performer expertly juggles two sponge balls, absurdly claiming this to be one of the most dangerous feats of juggling in the world. Stopping abruptly, he asks a spectator to point to either sponge, and then squishes that sponge in a tight fist. This juggling process is repeated, as the performer boasts the high level of danger. On the last round, the performer once more squishes the chosen sponge, and IMMEDIATELY hands it out. The danger is then shockingly revealed, as needle after needle is removed from the unchosen sponge!

-No switches or sleight of hand involved

-No forcing of any kind

-No magnets or gimmicks

-Everything is examinable

-Perfect for walk-around

-100% safe!

Start off by juggling two sponge balls, hmmm, and what if you don't juggle. Nice twist on Russian Roulette theme and would lead well into a needle and thread effect or single needle by Wayne Houchon. Liked the idea, just working on whether or not I will use it.

This added nicely to a routine where needles need to be in play for me, however with that being said, it's just a nice little walk around bit too, even by itself.

Make the things he suggest, way more impactful!

Great for those who can connect and play with others...as a stand alone piece for a non performer, a little practice will net you results....play this up...it's fun, easy, and worth the download...

Added in is some bonus mentalism ideas to ponder too...

Great stuff!

Practical & Not Yet Another Card Trick Report this review

The method is practical, though you might need to do a little shopping and experimenting to find the optimum size of sponge balls and length of needles. Not a major obstacle.

The best presentation would be juggling the two sponge balls in one hand, or, easier, juggling the two balls in the basic 3-ball cascade pattern with one ball missing. However, even though I'm a professional juggler, I'll say this can be surprisingly difficult with sponge balls because they're almost too light to juggle. You might try cutting a narrow but deep slit into the balls to insert a coin or two into the center, to add some weight.

If you're not a juggler, that doesn't rule out buying this. It would still be reasonably good if you simply shuffled the balls around rapidly on a table top.

Eight-page pdf, six pages of instruction. If you're merely curious to read the details of the method, $9.95 might be a little high for a short pdf. But if you can see yourself likely performing this regularly, you'll be happy with the purchase.
