Read a spectator’s mind using a pair of dice.

Inspired by the tests performed in the 1930s by Dr. JB Rhine, Matt Mello has created a routine that will allow you to replicate psychic abilities.

FIRST TEST - With your back turned, your spectator stacks the dice in any way they choose. After turning around, you are able to correctly guess the number of visible spots INSTANTLY.

SECOND TEST - With your back turned again, your spectator rolls a die on the table and remembers the number they landed on - a completely random choice. Without ever looking at the die, you reveal the number they are thinking of.

Statistically, guessing the number every time is impossible. Until now.

Matt Mello does it again. If I could give this effect 10 stars, I would. Watch the trailer. For the single die prediction, it looks like real mentalism where you are actually doing exactly what you say you are doing. Now what if I told you that there are no sleights used, and the dice aren't loaded? I dare you. Try to figure it out now. Yes, it's going to take a little bit of practice and some confidence, but holy mackerel is this a great routine.

And the other routine, the tower of dice, relies on an old principle that I'll wager you've never seen used like this before. It's awesome. You could even do it with a 10- or 20-dice tower if you wanted!

This is a tremendous value and something that you'll want to keep in you pocket all the time.

I've purchased a lot of mentalism over the years and Rhine's Dice is one of the most disappointing and impractical effects I ever bought. The crux of the routine in which the performer reveals the thought of number while his back is turned is the selling point of this non-electronic and un-gimmicked dice routine. The process is not only unrealistic but for any person who has anything but the most sensitive of hands, I feel it is impossible to do. Too many factors come into play which not only make the effect difficult but prone to failure. Without getting into details but how the die is covered by the spectator, the time is takes for the die to be placed in the performers hand, the condition of the performers hands, are all mitigating factors to the successful conclusion of the reveal. Sorry, this is one that I think was overhyped on online forums and is impractical for real world performing.

Had to get this elsewhere because Penguin was sold out.
This is surprisingly good, easy, well structured, and clearly explained.
I've gone in both directions with Matts work, but I am very pleasantly surprised with this one.
