A close up effect of great quality.
I've seen about 30 different money paddle models. Some
were 60$ Not only is this model a paddle but it is also a money paddle! Plus it has many
climaxes built in. This one has a great twist to it all with the final revelation of the mirror. I
always keep my money paddle ready in my briefcase if a spectator wants to see something after a
show.
Overtly simple in execution, this prop has mystified many sceptics I have crossed. I
was surprised on how well it played. Same goes for the hotrods... they play very well on audiences.

This is a classic of magic! It requires only one "move" and the paddle is completely examinable at
the end of the trick. The quality of this item is incredible. It is very well made, it comes with
a great carrying case, and it contains extra paddle rings in case you lose one or break one. Lots
of different "patter" options and the "mirror" at the end is priceless! Add this!

Based on the old move, here is a great way to make money appear from nothing. Spectators are clearly
shown both sides empty and suddenly, money appears. Don't expect to get big reactions from your
crown though. I've found that this trick is more a novelty than an actual magic trick but it all
depends on how you sell it.

Love the paddle. Seems put together well and the extra bands are nice for the future. Jay's video
is short but effective. Only downside is the case which is too small and too flimsy for practical
use. One of my snaps broke the first time opening it. Overall good buy.

This is a wonderful effect! Great for beginners and advanced magicians! Easy to carry, resets in
seconds, blows people away especially the ending! Highly recommend this effect. Bern performing
magic for over 10 years and this is one of the effects I never leave home without!

The tutorial that comes with the money paddle in video shows a nice routine but I think it is far
better not to have any coins showing on the paddle, showing both sides and then creating pennies.

The kicker of the mirror at
the end adds up something more than a money paddle routine done with a kitchen knife. All in all it
depends how you play it. In both cases the spectators can examine the props, whether it be a
butterknife or the money paddle deluxe. The butter knife will not be questioned as a magic prop,
however the deluxe paddle, depending on how you present it can be a mysterious object or a "tricked"
magic item. Try with both and play with presentation. Also, a knife might be slimmer compared to the
deluxe money paddle which can... or not be an advantage. The deluxe money paddle has better angle
coverage for technical production details of the item.
If you decide to buy this item you
can retrovert your presentation and all to the butterknife with no problem. In some venues its just
more logical to use a knife especially if you work a restaurant for example. However some other
situations you might prefer the deluxe paddle. I like the money paddle, I hardly use the case unless
it's to store the money paddle for a good while since it is a pretty tight fit when taking it out to
do the effect. I use the little compartment at the bottom of the money paddle case to add some extra
pennies in case I loose some.

This is a really well made prop! Nice finish, a good size, and "handles" well. If you're going to do
a paddle effect this is a good one because there are several magic moments and they are about as
well motivated an any trick of this kind could be.
Someone else mentioned that this is not
examinable. Actually it definately is... just only after you're done.
It's also a nice
touch that Penguin tosses in a few extra bands and a case. While I would never want to carry the
paddle in a case when I'm performing, it is a useful for storage. The only problem is you have to
remove the bands before the paddle will fit.
All in all, a very good thing.
