It's a good trick, highly recommended with rope tricks like Greg Wilson's Ring Leader DVD.. (but the moves aren't the same ,they have that same magical effect on the spectator.. but you know what I mean)

The Silks aren't anything special.. but they help you distinguish which one is which.. (Once you do this hundreds of times you can use any type of fabric.. for restaurant use that is.)

This trick is so versatile.. can be used for walkaround.. like in the demo.. for stage magic.. for restaurant..

For that price?.. I suggest you get one too..

I have always wanted a set of these silks, but never got around to ordering them until I saw Penguin offering them at about half the price you will find them anywhere else online. And on top of that they throw in one heck of a nice instructional video. Don't let the demo fool you, the effect itself is about 10 times better. Jay does an excellent job teaching you the ins and outs of this effect. I think I may be the only reviewer so far to actually pay for this, but I don't regret investing in it, and I have another set coming free with my next order, always good to have a back up. This one packs small and packs a huge punch, you will leave your specs in utter amazement after your routine. This effect is perfectly suited for a close up performance and also visual enough for a parlor or platform show. I have three words for those on the fence 'Add to Cart'. (When they come back in stock of course.)

I really didn't like this trick when I saw the demo video, but I bought some tricks the pther day for over $ 50 so I got this free. When I took a look at the demo video I was so suprised. I thought this was a one phase routine. Oh no, it has an amazing FOUR PHASES!!!! The first where you tie a knot and you can let the spectators see it, and it just comes apart. The second phase you tie a knot and then let the SPECTATOR TIE A KNOT, you put it in THEIR HANDS and it just melts a way!!!!! The next you tie a knot and Jay says it's the most visual part of the routine and it is. The knot just melts away. And the last part, you tie a knot and it splits in two when you hit it against the spectators hand, and EVERYTHING IS EXAMINABLE. The two knots that are on the handkercheives when they are handed out are real knots and take about 4 minuits to untie!!!!

This trick is really good, if you're having any doubts don't just buy it!!!!
I am no way near a beginner, but still this trick plays big. This trick can be performed by a beginner with some practice, but just buy this trick now!!!!

I normally like all the tricks i get, but, i didn't like this trick i got. First, when you do the knot and pull, they get stuck, second, the silks may seem smooth, but they are too grippy when you pull. I wouldn't recommend it but if you buy it, theres nothing i can do.

I love the effect and all, but this trick is too over priced. I won't recommend this trick until the price drops. Sorry Penguin, I just think that they are a little over priced!

I got these silks for the March Madness bonus and I'm satisfied, but I wouldn't be if I had bought them with my own money. It's a great effect and all but sometimes people figure it out and a lot of people that I did it to said "Oh" or "Okay?" Maybe it's because I'm a beginner and I don't know how to tell the story and make it realistic. It's a great trick and maybe it's cause I'm a beginner but one thing's for sure is that they are overpriced. I don't recommend it until the price drops. That's fair.
