This was my first card dvd and i havent looked back since. It is an amazing combination of teaching

you are looking for classic stuff that you don't know how to do yet. The dvd is VERY basic but the
effects ARE TESTED AND THEY WORK. Good stuff.
Simon is great, I just don't like the style of editing, but that doen't ruin the learning process. Did this review help you?

This DVD is fantastic.I think all of the effects are fool proof.Every single one of them i use
because it isn't bogged down with a load of crap.Just very strong tricks that you also don't need to
waste cards every time you preform.The only reason it looses a star with me is although Simon is
very funny,he is very quick with his explanations.He also never shares any of the thinking behind a
trick just the explanation and then that's it.As i say outstanding DVD with a great preformer but
the explanations could be much better!!

this dvd is amazing. although i bought this a while ago, this dvd became one of my foundations to
card magic. this is really unique card magic. there is one card trick on this dvd that i have gottin
great reactions from and is in my top 10 card tricks. the reason i gave it four stars, is because i
personaly wouldnt use some of his card tricks just because there not my style, but thats just me. i
promise that you will perform a couple of these. ADD TO CART NOW!!!

this dvd is great, it has a lot of useful things to do, he teaches really good too, a bit funny and
wacky too, but i have a lot of the things he teaches in my routines. i was real happy with this buy,
like all great magic you have to practice to make it look beautiful.

DVD is really good, I bought it of the cool box. I found a lot of useful things on here, that guy
is silly but he's good, he does a great job in teaching and instructions. Over all I'm happy with
the purchase, I also learned new things...good job Simon Lovell..

really cool dvd, he does such a good job in teaching, there are many things you can learn from this
dvd, yet everything is so easy, thanks simon lovell for this cool dvd, i enjoy practicing when i'm
off. very easy to learn and he teaches pretty good.. i think this dvd will be usefull to the people
that are getting into magic...

I was always interested in this DVD, but never got it as I have so much card magic material already.
But I got it from the Drop Box offer. I'm very pleased with the contents. A vast majority of the
effects are well within the range of the average magician. The effects are practical and effective.
I really don't get some of the complaints I read about this DVD. Seems like a lot of nit picking to
me. As you should be able to tell by the trailer, the tricks aren't for street magic and they
require the use of a performing surface. I love the atmosphere of the setting too. It feels like
you're there with Simon, just kicking back, learning, and having fun.
All in all, great buy. I am tempted to get some of his other stuff, but I already have so much material from other great card men. It would just be too overwhelming and I'd never get to it all. But if you're relatively new to the card magic game, you should seriously consider getting his material. Did this review help you?

There are a lot of reviews that speak negatively about this product. I, for one, enjoyed it. If
you are looking for completely impromptu effects, this is probably not the DVD for you. There are
some impromptu tricks here, but a lot of them require some set-up. However, some of that set-up can
be done in-front of the spectator (especially if you know other sleights such as the cull).
For those looking for some great poker insight, this DVD is not the right one. There are some poker-themed effects, but this DVD is not a second-deal, center-deal, bottom-deal and stacking DVD. Also, don't expect a wealth of Ambitious Card information. There ar a few new tricks/aspects that you can incorporate, but they probably won't revolutionize your current routine. In terms of Simon's hair and whatever else, that doesn't really concern me. Whether it was due to his being up at 6AM or simply part of his zany way is really irrelevant to these facts: The teaching of the effects is clear, and th effects get good reactions. I personally found him funny, but I couldn't care less if he is aesthetically pleasing to me. I'm already married :) Overall, I learned a few new things and some new applications for the things I already knew. I would recommend this DVD to someone looking to improve his/her arsenal of card magic and, thus, adding some great reactions to his/her routine. Did this review help you?
