WOW by Katsuya Masuda - Trick
Out of stock.
A spectator chooses a card from a deck of cards and signs his/her name across the face of the selected card. The card is replaced back into the deck and shuffled. Then the performer picks a card, which is revealed to be an indifferent card. He places it into a transparent plastic card holder. The spectators can see the face of the card inside the holder. As the magician makes a magical gesture, the indifferent card morphs into the signed selection. The card is removed from the holder and handed out for examination. I like this trick, and there is a good amount of things you can do with it. It's one of those fun
little toys to go back to and play with every now and then. The actual trick that you get is pretty
bad though. It's a little plastic baggy with a sheet of instructions and a gimmick. The gimmick is
durable as long as you put the care into it. IF not, it will break very easily. I don't recommend
this really.

Probably the most visual card change around! This is a very good effect and the gimmick is great and
very easy to use. Just make sure you have a good routine and explain why you're using the gimmick,
otherwise it seems pretty suspicious.

Let me start off by saying that this is my all time favorite trick. Yes, my all time favorite. It
arrived in the mail today and I have to say that I was a bit dissapointed but it turned out to be
just as good as everyone made it out to be.
Package: This was nicely packaged... A bit smaller then I thought, maybe it's just me. A little plastic bag with the instructions and prop was all that needed to come. Angles: This is angle proof. There is no angle where you could see what was going on. Gimmick: In one word: Ingenious. I was expecting... Well, I don't know what I was expecting, but I was surprised! I can't say too much more without exposure. Difficulty: This is one of the easiest tricks to do. I don't know anyone who could screw this up. The card sleeve is gimmicked, but performed right, no one ever suspects the sleeve. The only cons I can see to this are that: 1: The gimmick is very fragile. 2: There are little squares on the transparant sleeve. People can see thru them, and it is clearly visible, but... Well, in the video it never had the little squares. I give this a 5. This is an awesome gimmick that no one should be without. It is a tad pricy, but... I still feel that it is worth it. I just wish he would sell the gimmicks separatly for like 20 bucks a piece though. Did this review help you?
Greatest trick I've ever bought

While I didn't actually buy this from Penguin(sorry, but you guys were out of it at the time), I can
only say that this is the most visual change card trick I've ever seen. It is also very personal as
you have a signed card jump from the deck and visually appear in the small card holder. You can use
any deck and everything is examinable at the end. Plus you give the card to the spectator as a
souvineer. This is a great follow up to Hip Pocket Mullica (which I did buy from Penguin) using the
same signed card.
