I bought this DVD as a companion DVD to "Build Your Own Card Fountain for Under $20" after learning that both products were made using the same parts. After watching both videos I can confirm this is true. I’m also glad that I bought these videos together because they help clarify some confusing building points back and forth between each other. I have no hesitation endorsing this product and telling you that it will work as shown with the simple disclaimer that I have never done any other research into power reels and therefore cannot verify how this stands up to other reels on the market. I can tell you it works as shown. The major tools you’ll need to build this are the same tools you need to build their card fountain. These are a drill with standard sized drill bits, soldering iron, wire stripper/cutter, screw driver, and pliers. If you have these or can borrow them you will significantly cut down on the price. Overall, I give this video the same rating that I gave to their card fountain, 5 stars, because it delivers what is promised.
