It works with any soda, or, get this, any beer!

This trick is one of the few effects I do in EVERY SHOW. it is that good. It works in any and every venue. Close up, stage, parlor. It is the perfect trick.

There is some set up work, and you cannot do an instant reset and redo it. However, when I am doing walk around stuff, I will have several set up in advance ready to go around the venue.

Healed and Sealed is a very cleverly thought out illusion. It may take some practice, or maybe experimentation is a better word, once you know the secret(s) to get the trick to come out just the way you want. Once you have the “settings” where you want them, a beginner should be able to pull this off with a bit of rehearsal.

Healed and Sealed can be presented just as seen in the video. It plays well to the small audiences I entertain and I saw it performed at a theater that amazed about a thousand spectators.

Although no one has caught on yet, I always worry about how one of the prep steps will turn out. But it looks like Penguin is now offering 100 gimmicks to take the place of this preparation included in the price. Great idea! I’m sure most or all of us would rather spend our effort on the presentation and not on the arts and crafts.

Hey good folks at Penguin Magic, how about offering just the gimmicks at a reasonable cost to those of us that already sprung for the prior version of Healed and Sealed?

Not complicated. Little to no practice. Easy to have on hand. A great trick! I love it because it is another close up trick not using cards or coins and is easy for the audience to relate to!

What can I say? I do stand up magic at conventions throughout the year and this trick is an absolute shoe in~! I'll be doing it all weekend this weekend for sure and as the gimmicks and alternatives are easy to come by or create, I won't have to wait for my gimmicks to arrive.

Simply amazing illusion and without a doubt this will be a VERY popular routine for me in the future~!

Does what it says, not hard to do at all and the nice little covers they provide are nice compared to the old way of creating the open can illusion. Yes you have to do some prep work that takes maybe one minute out of view probably but if you're slick you could do around people I suppose but other than that just as the video shows. I like this effect and can be done with any carbonated drink, even beer etc. as explained in the video. Video is only 16 minutes long which is perfect (I hate long hour long explanations and theory video's personally, lol) I would recommend this to a beginner or a pro.

Really great trick, call it a "new classic." Total fooler. You really can ditch the gimmick by openly dropping it, nobody will notice, but I'm not really into littering like that - just ditch it in your pocket.

Deducted one star due to the gimmick. When I first got the trick I thought I had been shorted, it seemed like there were only 8 gimmicks. There are a loooot more than that, they are just suuuuuper-thin and stacked in a way that what I thought was one gimmick was actually like twelve. The way they were mass-produced makes it difficult to separate out just one.

It's great to mix in a trick that isn't a card trick into the middle of a doing a card trick or two - it takes people by surprise.

This is 100% easy to do, with the easiest of moves to the point it's practically self working and is perfect for magicians of all skill levels. I practiced it once -and was ready to go and wowed my family.

The video was short/sweet and to the point and included quality teaching.

Organically - I respect how street performers have used this trick - and I think the whole picking the can up off the street or from a garbage can is an interesting way to go - but - what I did was had a glass of diet coke that I drank from a little bit in a casual setting as I was doing a card trick or two and made sure to pause to drink from it and had the empty can nearby. Then talked about being a lazy magician and wishing there was a way I didn't have to get up to go get more soda - and alas came up with a way. My small crowd was caught completely off guard.

The fact you can also do this trick with beer or any canned beverage leads to so many fun scenarios!

I will say keeping it organic and having a good minute or two for prep and a little bit of time to innocuously plant your can is important - but truly the easiest of things to be worked out.

I am curious as to how long the can is able to sit before a performance - I'm guessing 5 minutes or so is about the limit but look forward to experimenting with that and maybe seeing what people say in the forums.

I have been looking to add more variation to my routines other than card magic. When I first saw "Healed and Sealed" I thought it was too good to be true, but I have to tell you, before I even received my gimmicks, I was performing this routine.

And the results are amazing. About half of the people are so dumbfounded by what happens they simply take the poured soda offered from what had been presented as an empty can and thank me for it, often noting how nice and cold it is.

One lady simply wouldn't drink it as she was sure there were cigarette butts in it...

A quarter of the people are simply confused by the effect and just can't wrap their head around it and the last quarter of the spectators as jaw droppingly stunned.

I have to say, this is a definite ADD to my routine~!

This effect help to complement the end of my routine, and very easy to follow the instructions how to achieve this effect as his best!
