Two coins (U.S. Half Dollar and English Penny) are shown and placed in the spectator's hand. The spec closes there hand and is asked to describe the two coins within. "The U.S. Half Dollar and English Penny" describes the spec. When the hand is opened, two coins are present however; one of the coins has changed from the penny to a quarter.

I love this trick, it's one of the best coin tricks I have! Very Easy to do but the effect is amazing. The coins can be examined in the end and they are so well made that it's nearly impossible to figure out.

I'm impressed by the quality of the coins and the bang ring - very sturdy and seem like they should last for some time. In addition, I was up and using this in an hour. Not polished of course, but good enough to run two different routines at family members and wow them! This was a great purchase.

And a beginner I am. As a matter of fact my first magic show will be for my five year old nieces birthday. I have showed this trick to my wife, older daughter and her two friends and they were amazed. Especially when I had my daughter pull the copper piece from her pocketbook.

Had this when I was a kid, and needed to replace. Top quality as always. The only thing i didn't like was the bang ring, so I ordered the Aluminum one on Penguin Magic.

I was astonished to find that after joining the smaller copper coin to the half dollar shell to perform the disappearance of same and to reveal a "complete" half dollar there is an OBVIOUS copper ring around the base or head side of the shell. Didn't and doesn't make any sense to me and after contacting penguin they informed that this is how the product is. Because of the glaring ring of copper on the SILVER half dollar it is impossible to have inspected which really defeats the purpose of the effect. I DO NOT recommend.

Coins are great but the bang ring is garbage. Can't get the coins to seperate. Ring is to small.

Prior to this set, I found that the Johnson set was the best, but they’ve been out of stock forever everywhere. I went hunting for a set as good. Well, this set is arguably superior. The machining, the fit, the finish is remarkable. Also, they include rage extra (ungimicked) coin in the set. Perfection!
