Some tricks on this DVD I liked very much, but it seemed like they just threw random tricks in for
fun. Although, some tricks require a necessary movement that you have to do, and they don't teach
you the movements.
overall I liked it, but wished it went more in depth. Did this review help you?
I am not going to make this a very long review but I will review the effects that popped out to me
most:
Portal: Is a very nice and clean card across effect. This effect uses one of the coolest double lifts I have seen and their is also a very well thought out pop out move I believe from a magician named Shreko Howard. Osh Negash b'gosh: I like this effect becuse spectators never seen the trick coming. Do not want to ruin theeffect so you have to buy the DVD to see he effect. Spinning top: This is a very nice double lift. They got the idea from Frank Garica's one handed spinning double, this one is a two handed spinning double and you can make it spin very fast. Dr. 90210: This is a very nice addition to the spin doctor double. Double Piroutte: This is a piroutte flourish done with 2 cards. I think this is a neat double but do not think I will be using this one. Hank Miller / manfred Shuffle: These are 2 very nice in the hand false riffle shuffles. Shepherd Change: A very visual in the center change. This change is so awesome, it is not to hard to do but will take some practice. Ginastaire Double: This is a very nice double lift. As stated, this is the fourth disk of the Trilogy (figure that one out!)...
...and probably the worst. I didn't like this one as much as the rest of the trilogy. Basically, this seemed to me as them putting a bunch of random stuff on a DVD (some of which was worthy, some of which wasn't) just to get another DVD in the set... That does not a good DVD make! I mean, there were some cool moves on here (which is why it gets three stars) that I have been doing, but overall, this disc was a lot weaker than the trilogy in terms of material. I don't really reccomend this DVD. Did this review help you?
This DVD is intended for a quite high level but most of the stuff is quite doable. I was hoping for
more tricks and less cuts as the cuts tend to get kinda impossible and theres only like three tricks
and oneof them stinks. The stuff is excellent especially the extras like color changes and
improvements on past tricks inearlier volumes. I first got this without having seen the rest of the
set which may have been a bad idea as a lot of the stuff continues on previous stuff.
