Wow! I can't believe how incredible this is for the price! It Blows away the Tarantula and is only on third the cost. I find I can do all the same tricks and even more then what I was able to do with the Tarantula and my hands are clean before and after. Being a working pro, these things are important to me.

without a doubt the best reel and thread out there

I have been using IT off and on for a few years. This has so far been the easiest way to carry it. I have this on my undershirt at all times now. I bought this because of Magick Balay's penguin live event. His floating napkin rose is the best I have seen. I have been getting the greatest responses from it! It will definitely generate crowds. Also,I suggest Tom Wright's at the table lecture. For $8 you will get some of his best routines. I enjoyed this so much, I bought two more about a week later. Repairs are fairly easy, but I bought multiples to cover this. Completely worth it.

Seriously, if you need an ITR, this is a great one. Good price, quality thread, small and unobtrusive.... what more do you want?

A lot of reviews gave this 1 or 2 stars is because the thread “breaks” very easily while preforming , and that because of the HOLE ( it has a sharp edges ) that when the thread hits the edges of the hole , it’ll break immediately ...
I HAVE A SOLUTION FOR THIS 💡
Step 1 : take the thread out of the TUBE and keep it on a side.

Step 2 : take the TUBE and a LIGHTER , and just BURN the hole ( just a little bit ) you don’t need to melt the plastic , and then the sharp edges will GONE .

Let me just say this first. This is not the highest quality ITR out there. For good reason too. I mean this was only $15. However, for its price, the quality is great.

The thread is really strong, and if youre used to working with Loops or any elastic thread, not breaking the thread is pretty easy.

The only thing I have to say is not about the wax. The wax is extremely sticky, and leaves residue on cards or things you stick it on. Maybe this is to keep the thread inside, but this can be a tad bit annoying.

Repair isnt that difficult, it just requires practice.

Overall, this reel does what it needs to for the price. Its practical and cheap to replace. However, there are better ITRs like Venom or Tarantula, so if you have the money, consider getting an upgrade to one of those 2.

It is only right for some situations with regard to lighting so I suggest you have both nylon and Kevlar on you at all times

I love the size of these units and it works well... initially, however once the thread breaks off the wax, its difficult to pull the thread through the hole. I have used the "pull" technique using my mouth at the hole to pull the thread through however this does not work. I opened the unit to feed the thread through the hole, however the elasticity is never the same. I msgd the creator on Facebook asking for support, however none was forthcoming. Perhaps Penguin Magic can assist with how to repair these ensuring elasticity, once the thread breaks.
