I do not think hardcore "magicians" need this type of book except for a few fun ideas, bar bets and some basic body language. I think any negative reviews are by those thinking a book made for non-magicians was going to teach them a bunch of new tricks! I could easily tell from the description that this was certainly made for the mainstream world and not so much working magicians such as other products like Tagged, This is Mentalism, etc. I wonder if anyone takes the title serious as I'm pretty sure it's a play on words and not a serious "pick up artist" book. I get his humor and it's cracks me up! The title COULD have easily been "How to entertain girls & friends at parties." That just struck me as odd, but more about the book...

I think the book is very cool and fun. It's a perfect gift for some buddies because I'm certainly not going to give them a DVD on some crazy tricks that takes tons of skill. These are designed for everyday people and I appreciate it. The chapters are interesting and of course you could find a lot of this info by searching on numerous sites but it seems to be the case with anything these days. It's put together nicely and I think most will really dig it!

The reason I give it three stars is because I haven't got a girl from this book... yet... but if I do I will give it a five star, but I'll have to get back on that.

It's not a bad book but it's not a great book. I haven't read the entire book yet but I've read some chapters and it gives me a pretty good overview of the book itself.

It's not a very big book, and most of the pick-up lines are pretty "outrageous", like "I'm going outside to make out. care to join me?", still I haven't tried it and it might work, but it's not really my personality of saying things like that.

The "quickies" are not too impressive tricks. I would recommend some other tricks, like a color change, to get a girls attention. I haven't read the "one-night stands" yet either.

The bets are actually pretty fun, but if you already know too many bets and scams, well this probably wouldn't be anything new for you. I've earned some from the bets in the book and soon I've paid for the book itself. ;)

There's alot in the body-language section, something like 20 pages. Haven't read it all but there's a few points I already was aware of before, but reminded me as I read.

And I haven't read the rules of the game-section yet, only skimmed it through.

So, to sum it up, the book is fairly ok! If you really want it, you should get it. If you're a bit skeptic, well, don't get it I suppose.

I had higher expectations...pick up lines are weak and in my opinion very corny...the magic tricks are elementry school tricks...nothing really exciting for an average magician and I don't know about the advice to picking up chicks cus I just had to put the book in the shelf. you'll probably get laughed at and most likely rejected if you follow the lines in this book. However, for $15 the price of a cocktail I guess it's ok for a TOTAL beginner in magic and PUA skills.

There is nothing special at all about this book. The magic tricks are EXTREMELY weak. Rehashing of old pickup lines that you could find on any one of a million websites, and ridiculously ambiguous body language advice combine to make this book a serious letdown. The editing appears to have been done by an infant (who doesn't know the difference between the words "lose", and "loose" for Christ's sake?!).

The best part of this book was the laughable endorsement by Chuck Liddell, and the line, "I may not be the best looking guy here, but I AM the only one talking to you ..."

Learn quality effects, and study the science of social dynamics. Don't waste your time or money on this garbage.

I was sceptical when I first got this. But when I practiced I used the tricks and I got a girl in no time flat. So if you want learn some good tricks or great ways to get girls buy this book and you won't regret it.
