Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased this DVD and this is a much better DVD than his first one . The production and presentations were/are in front of a live audience not just one person. The best effects from my humble opinion were/are ,''White Memory'' ''Double Coincidence'' ''The Two Drawings''and ,''The Key Of Fate'' the latter being a chair prediction incorporating his version of ,''Seven Keys to Baldpate'' very clever indeed;only I would have given the helpers small but decent gifts rather than nothing - I have seen this done many times and it just doesn't look good;but overall as I said it's a much better DVD. In My Mind, 4(-) stars (four minus). Most of the tricks require some preparations, need extra
magician's props or specific items to be present at hand. The trick that I was impressed with was
"The Experience" which was the very first time that someone gave me a *direct ,plain and simple*
explanation on how a cold reading works. The basic plot of the trick is: you ask the spectator to
think of a memorable event he/she had with someone and then you start drawing that experience and,
also at the end the reading, you also relate the name of the person sharing the experience. I like
this trick very much, it is a very gutsy trick with layers of psychological leads that if you
prepared yourself and script it out very well, it can elevate your performance to the level of
Derren Brown or Banachek.
