This is "impromptu" magic, but don't confuse that with "self-working" this is not self working
effects like some of the other Liam Montier and Cameron Francis titles. You will have to be
proficient with basic sleights. This is intermediate level card magic. THAT SAID! Great DVD - all
killers!!! Another great title from Big Blind Media! WOW!

I like this video a lot. It is full of a lot of amazing tricks that will keep your audience
speechless. However, it is not for beginners. All of the tricks are fairly difficult to do, and
lots of sleight is involved. Don't buy it if you are a beginner to magic.

Everything is very well explained. Some effects might be a bit similar, but there are enough that
you could perform an entire routine of contrasting effects just from this DVD.
really are minimal. Even the most complicated move is a pretty common sleight that you can master
with some practice in front of a mirror.
I have performed a routine of only these effects
and blown minds, so the effects are well worth your time.
Most of these could even be
performed on a random deck you find at a party.
My typical performance would include one or
two of these effects, something visual, like a deck color change, an effect without cards, and
closing with a gimmicked card trick. Adding these high impact impromptu card effects really adds to
the punch of more complicated ones since everything seems so natural.
This is a collection of numerous card tricks that are completely impromptu, a borrowed deck , a
shuffled deck, not set up. So thats a big plus. Im kind of sick of all these instructional videos
with tricks where you have to set up the deck a certain way first. They are also not as popular or
well known as ACR, for example, but they are not as fun to watch either. They are very similar to
one another but in the end, if you need to perform and you do not have your gimmicks or props with
you, this dvd can be a lifesaver, but they would not be my first choice for card tricks if i have a
This is one of the best collection of impromptu card magic I've ever seen. Every trick is great and
explained very well. If you need a good collection of ready to go card tricks that require no
gimmicks and no set up and still pack a big punch, this is the DVD for you.
Very good and helpful DVD. It does pretty much exactly what it says in the title. Good entertaining
tricks with virtually no set ups at all and normal cards. My only slight gripe (hence 4 stars) is
that it says that there is no filler involved which I don't agree with. Some of the tricks are quite
similar or use similar principles to achieve similar things and feel like filler.
though: Well taught, good tricks and a DVD I would recommend .
I was a bit deceived by this DVD as the routines lack of variety and get repetitive. That's a shame,
because Cameron is a good teacher and magician, but I had higher expectations for his Impromptu Card
It was my first Cameron Francis product I bought and it won't stop me from
buying more stuff from him.
I love this DVD... I gave it four stars because not all tricks are my style but that does not mean
that the tricks are bad.
It is a collection of mind blowing Magic... and in order to be a
versatile Magician you need your tools. I.E. pinky breaks, double lifts, sleights and many more
tools. These tools will help you perform impromptu magic.
So in order to say that you
aren't able to or not interested in doing any sleight of hand is ridiculous.
to.... Practice!!! I once was unable to, too.
Not interested!!!! You may not get the WOW!!!
Factor and you will loose out on some very cool Magic.
Buy this DVD and you will blow your
friends mind with their deck of cards.
The impression given by the description is that the tricks on this DVD are very easy to do. Not so.
Each trick requires one or more sleights. That should be stated clearly.
can successfully do double lifts, pinky breaks, etc. For those willing to do sleight of hand, the
tricks may be great. But, this DVD shouldn't be hyped in a way that attracts dumbos like me who
aren't able or interested in doing any sleight of hand. Self-working card tricks like those
presented by John Bannon and Aldo Columbini and others are much more useful.
