First, the good - and there's A LOT of good:
The quality of the utility is second-to-none. It is expertly crafted, and will definitely last through years of repeated use. To top it off, you get 2 of them! You can't beat that.

Ease of use -
This isn't something you'll take out of the box and instantly put in your performance repertoire, and that's not a bad thing. This will take practice (and a lot of it), to master. Some techniques come faster than others, which allows you a nice progression of difficulty. You can use this to your advantage by actually performing the moves you learn quickly, while practicing the more advanced techniques as you work.

And now, the drawbacks:

1 - As a lefty I was, naturally, a bit nervous. After a week or so of practicing, I can already tell that, despite the fact that I can continue to use and progress with it, it just won't ever get to that level of comfort that I would need, to reliably use it in a performance situation. I'm simply not as dexterous, or capable working "as a righty", so for that, I may have to put this on the shelf.

2 - The reappearance feature is knacky, for me. I don't want to step into the realm of exposure, here - so all I can say is that the utility is dependent upon body size, at times. If you're on the taller side, you might find some parts don't "line up" perfectly.

So, if you can get past the hindrances of left-handedness (unlike me), then you'll love this. If you have no problem working with both hands equally, this is a no-brainer. It's an incredible piece of kit, and will work perfectly.

I want to start by saying this is good.
This is a fantastic gimmick with many uses and applications! When you master the coin vanish it is super amazing and people love it. Jeff Kaylor teaches some really good card to envelope tricks as well. He teaches many tricks utilizing the gimmick and they are all great.

Here are the drawbacks for me:
1) In order to use this you must devote a shirt to it. Don't get me wrong, with some of the methods he teaches you can still wear the shirt normally, but you are going to permanently change a shirt.

2)In order to practice, you must always put on that one particular shirt- get it ready and then practice. This means you cannot just quickly practice it regularly through the day. You must change and then spend a while practicing it.

3)Considering how impractical this is to practice, it needs a lot of practice! The coin vanishes will take a while to get, especially since you dont always find the time to change shirts and practice. Its not like working on a card move, because you can frequently pick up the cards and go. Not with this.

4)Invisible? not so much. Whenever I am wearing this I fear being spotted. In a performance certain angles dont work (admittedly a small percentage of angles). But even when you have this in in a non-performance mode (cant give away to much), this can look unnatural- e.g. when you are sitting down. This is to bear in mind- when I use this I dont feel safe and free from being spotted.

5)Often, on the go when you get asked to do a trick, you will not be wearing this. From these situations I have discovered that instead of using the UCCU I will just palm off the card. Sure the UCCU is a little cleaner but if your palm is good there is no difference from the point of view of a spectator. NOTE: all the envelope effects are still possible with a palm.

6) As for coin vanishes, it is fantastic, however I always stress over mucking it up in a way I would not whilst doing a retention for example. This move is hard, very hard. I mostly get it but occasionally I mess it up which is embarrassing when you put a coin in a bottle and end up with one on the floor as well.

7) Bearing in mind that I find the coin stuff very good (a little risky) and you can do the card stuff without it almost as well this has been on my shelf most of the time sadly. I do use it sometimes but most times I am in a casual environment and am wearing a t-shirt so I just do similar effects without.

I am sure you are aware of the clothing requirements but you must now consider- how often do you wear a shirt? Are you willing to change into one whenever you practice? Are you willing to practice a lot?!

I do love this but the above floors make it unsatisfactory for me- especially for the price.
But if the issues above do not affect you- go ahead. Buy it!

Regardless of wether you are new to magic or a seasoned pro, this utility device will find its way into your act. Unlike many other tricks i have purchased over the years that just sit on the shelf and collect dust, this device has already been installed and has been incorporated into my routine. Everything you see listed in the description can be done.

I LOVE THE BUSINESS CARD PRODUCTION. If you use this production with something like the smoke gimmick i think this is one of the best ways to produce your business cards.

You can use short sleeves!

They provide you with a website, username, and password to a secret website for others to share ideas...it is not fully functional but the idea is worth mentioning for once it goes live.

You DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SEW to do this effect. I thought, when i was watching the demo, that i needed to sew or build some elaborate gimmick. NOT TRUE...this can be installed within a few minutes and be worn throughout the entire day without anyone ever seeing the gimmick. They provide you with a kit and the gimmick...a great addition.

Cons

I am left handed, and this effect is really designed for someone who is not a south paw. I am able to over come this but, as it has been mentioned by another review, if you cannot use your right hand for vanishes there really is no other way of using this device unless you find a women's shirt that fits...(i haven't found one) With that being said if you are a women who is right handed, you will have difficulty as well unless you wear a mans shirt. (It will make sense on why once you buy it)

Depending on your level of magic ability, you will need to practice the moves ALOT. To make this look natural like the video shows, many hours will be needed for the average magician or hobbyist.


Sorry for the long review but i really want you to know that you do indeed get your money's worth. It is a bit pricy but i sternly believe that if you buy this effect and give it the practice it deserves, you will see the payoff on your spectators faces. This is a great item and provides us all with a lot....

This is a wonderful utility that you can install with a button up shirt and take it anywhere you go without any repeated setup. The video production quality is top notch, fully explaining some great sleights, along with full professional routines that will blow away spectators of every kind. TKO 2.0 offers some really great improvements over the original, and is definitely worth the price.

If you want a simple, easy to master method of vanishing coins and controlling cards, look elsewhere! If you are willing to put the time in to set the device up and practice in the mirror in order to do some really awesome effects, put this in you cart right now!

The DVD is beautifully filmed, the packaging is great, the explanations are great and the concept is awesome. If there's anything else that makes a great utility device, I don't know what it is. Why are you still reading this? Buy the item!

This is my first review here on PM and I want to say this is the best uttily device I´ve ever seen! Normally I dont use gimmicks but this is one is a "must have"

All the effects are killer! and the best part is ... ur imagination is unlimited. U can creat ur own routines and tricks.

ur a fool if u miss this!

A week of practice each night and I am making coins disappear with ease. One thing that works very well for me and attracted me to this product is its aid in performing the coin in a bottle. After getting the coin from the bottle after the trick I always end up with the trick coin in my right hand. If I surreptitiously put it in my pocket someone always says, "What did you put in your pocket?" Now, I can just toss it into thin air. Or, I can actually take it from the bottle into my right hand in plain view of all and pretend to toss it to my left hand where the normal coin awaits. I usually toss it to the left hand (falsely) and then toss the real coin back to the right hand. This way it gets wet from the beer that came out of the bottle into my right hand when I removed the trick coin. Before TKO, someone would sometimes notice that the coin presented after the trick was dry after supposedly being in a wet bottle. So, in short, this device has made the coin in a bottle trick absolutely and easily bulletproof. Even someone who knows how it's done cannot figure out how I do it. Bam, pow!

It's a great trick, very creative and easy to Perform, well explained, you just have to practice and practice to achieve a good result which will create amazing reactions. =)

This device was really thought out well. It is a custom design to be used with cards, coins, and a number of other items. It is also designed to be used with a shirt, meaning you don't have to use a jacket. Wonderful design and well thought out.
