Firstly, I want to say that it is an awesome trick! You don't need to use anything but sticky note
and a marker. It takes tiny bit of practices and after I performed it, even if my audience was a
very doubtful person, he still got "Mind-blown". I am so happy with this trick here. Highly

A while back I reviewed Object Permanence by Tyler. He now has a new version out that is a steal at
$10. Hopefully the link above works. If not, you can find this at all dealers and through Murphys.
In my opinion, it's the best moving ink effect on the market. It uses a post-it pad and sharpie. The
download teaches the original Object Permanence routines and then two new handlings that are both
great. The ad copy is very accurate as is the demo video. The download is shot very well and the
teaching is very clear. There are multiple live performances on the 1 hour download so you can see
all the variations in the real world. I don't know Tyler but he's very likable and easy to follow.
Hearts is my favorite of the new routines. You draw two hearts on a post-it pad. In one you
put the first initial of one person. In the other, you put the first initial of the second person in
the couple. You then visibly drag the first heart onto the second heart. Now there is one heart with
both initials. You immediately, with no switch, hand the post it note to the couple for full
The best part of all of the routines is that they are all very visual and
there is no switch of the altered post-it note in any of the routines. So the spectators can burn
the pad and even remove the altered post-it notes themselves.
There is some arts and
crafts involved but Tyler clearly walks you through everything. There are no magnets (which makes
the gimmicks/set-up much more secure during both transport and the actual routines) and the prep for
all the routines is very easy. You essentially just need a pad, sharpie and some scissors. The
teaching is thorough and Tyler walks you through various ways to reset, including how to set the
pads up so you can reset almost instantly.
If you are like me and are always looking for a
non-card, non-coin item to mix up your set, I can't recommend this highly enough. As Tyler clearly
says, this is not self-working. It's not difficult, but you will need to practice the one move that
is involved to get it down smoothly. So do not expect to watch the demo and then immediately go out
and perform it. You will need to spend about a week practicing with this so you can do it justice in
performance. It's worth the practice to have a very visual effect that leaves the spectators with a
great visual and a magically altered object.
This gets my highest recommendation.

I like the effect, goes over well and fairly easy to do with some practice. Very minimal arts and
crafts (scissors and then the pad) so super easy. Reason it gets four instead of five is the video.
It's good, but it drives me NUTS when it takes an eternity to get to the effect. It took 16 minutes
to get to where you learn what's going on, I'd rather see maybe one performance then the secret and
then a ton of other performances later for ideas but sooooo many video's do it the other way or they
go into the history etc. and the actual effect part or "secret" takes about three minutes. Again,
good effect, I'm just being picky about getting to it, lol. It's a good buy and worth it.
Had to pick this up, always loved the moving ink plot, this is something you can perform today, or
set up-practice & take this to the next level! Tyler is great and this is an amazing tutorial. You
will learn how to get your creativity flowing before you know it! ENDLESS Possibilities; as a
mentalist, - this is highly visual and i love visual illusions, so if you are into mentalism this is
not just for magicians. Get ready to create a work of art and all you need are a few house hold
items , nothing out of the ordinary obv stick notes + some things to cut stuff up, really it.. oh
and a marker!
The reviews do not lie. Purchase and buy,
Nothing you are reading will
get you satisfaction,
Just place your damn order, and go get reactions!!!

This is cool! I believe the "Moving Dot" and "Zen Archery" versions are the easiest, so will work on
learning them first, to establish some confidence. The merging hearts is a great effect and will
learn that next.
Hangs up half way through playing video.
I am struggling here. i have tried 2 types of post it notes and it is still easy to spot the
something added. Cant believe this will fool anyone in daylight. My daughter got this straight away
which is the benchmark for me as to whether a trick is a worker or not. She is 13 by the way.
Sorry, really wanted to like this but its a no from me.
Thank you for sharing these illusions Tyler. Your teaching is very clear and you make learning
easy. The best part of Sticky-Note Slide is the audience reactions. I've really enjoyed performing
I wonder why this trick does not have more good reviews than that
