I had a thought transmitter for the past 5 years, or so.....
I ordered a new one & it's totally different. In the past, I simply had to put a "post it" note...they write a number & I quickly glance at it. Now there's many more steps to make it happen. I'd suggest to go back to the original...

I got the Thought Transmitter when I read about it here on the Penguin Forums.

Boy, am I glad that I did. It's a gimmick that allows you to read a thought...any thought...and tell the spectator what it was without even opening the wallet that they have put that thought in. You can even have the wallet back in your pocket or your case before revealing, which makes it even more amazing.

The wallet is well constructed and the gimmick works perfectly. I have yet to encounter any issues with the workings of the gimmick.

The reactions for this trick seem to be mainly disbelief. I have yet to have someone NOT ask "How did you do that!!??" with this one. Even when I did it for a group of several people, each time of course getting the right thought, people were still in awe.

It's a really good wallet and I really like it. Fun to perform and well constructed!!

I have had the pleasure of meeting afamed John Cornelius many times considering he lives right here in the Alamo city. Everything he releases is high quality, well thought out and practical for performance. Thought Transmitter Pro is no exception. Contrary to popular opinion, I prefer this model considering it works with business cards. All others only worked with Post It notes. Another advantage is that everything can be replaced very easily. Comes highly recommended.

Dont listen to all of these shmo's who only give it 4 starssss! its amazing!!! im a freshi and i did it to a few seniors and they made me do it to there hole grade and no one had a clue how i did it and they were redy to kill me if i didnt tell them... blah im sure ur not interested in my life story but bottom line is its amazing and get it and the angles arent terrible u just have to do it fast and truthfully, thats all you need, half a second

This is one of my all time favorite effects. It's diabolically simple and very direct. No one I've done this too seems to notice that it is a little bulky.
Only thing is that lighting is an issue. You can't really do this out in the sun while you're doing walk around on the streets. BUT! It does come w/ the advice of using the wallet as a "Shiner". I haven't tried that -- but I'm sure out in the sunlight it would work.

This is one of the best mentalism effects I own. You can simply read the spectator's mind or, as I like to do, use this with the invisible deck. This trick is very claen and hard to mess up, the spectators won't have clue how you did it!!

I would have to say that this is one of the most useful tricks I've ever used. It gets huge reactions everytime I do it. Great trick for Mentalism acts and awesome to do for laymen or magicians. This trick was a bit pricey, but to my mind, it's well worth the money!!!

Very bulky! Looks like a gadget. I would not buy this item unless your heart is set on mentalism.

I got this from a danish magic store few weeks ago...

It`s a James Bond gadget, but you don`t need Q to explain it, Under the rigth conditions this will do the same thing as any other peek device. What sets it apart is the method wich is based on electronics.

there is also an angle issue. Not only when you get the peek, but when you do you have to cover the sides a bit because the peek "shines" through and someone migth spot that. It also relies on the rigth ligthing conditions.

Id say using a shiner would be the most deceptive way to use this. If not i would suggest you are quick with the peek.

For mind reading i will stick with my current methods...

well, it is a great tool when used properly I only have one bad thing about it, the secret part to this is that the main part is not well.
I will replace the main secret part with [an alternative], thus breaking the warrenty but I like it britter...

also dont do this in to dark of places...
