Effect

You borrow a bill from a spectator and without any sleight-of-hand you penetrate it with a Paper Mate pen, then rip it across the bill, and yet the bill is unharmed! Then what seems like real magic (no switching) you cause the point of the pen to appear under the cap and everything can be examined! While the spectator is examining the pen, you remove a nickel from your pocket and place it on the back of your hand.
