The performer holds a small note pad, and with a pencil, writes a prediction. He then places the pencil on the table, and asks a spectator to name any 2 or 3 digit number (or anything else). Spectator does so (lets say 34). Immediately, the performer turns over the pad, and the chosen number 34 appears right in the middle. This paper is then given to the spectator as a souvenir.
