After purchasing & viewing Laflin's DVD on the silk fountain, I considered making one myself. But at Penguin's price for the Laflin fountain, it was much more practical to purchase. I am very happy with the purchase. The fountain is well made, with a reliable release system and a holder for a final load. The silks used are of good quality with vibrant colors. I am very happy with it, and buying it saved a lot of work (and probably frustration, too).
