An unopened, sealed box of microwave popcorn is given to a spectator in the audience. They open the box and remove one of the three bags, tossing it to the performer.
The performer unwraps the bag, holds it between the fingers and thumbs of each hand, and proceeds to pop the bag of popcorn! A bowl is placed on a table, the bag opened, and the popcorn dumped into the bowl. The bowl of popcorn can then be handed out to a spectator in the audience.
This is the killer opener you've been waiting for. It just makes sense. Entertainment and snacks go hand-in-hand. Imagine the gasps of disbelief when you open the bag and fill a glass bowl with the popcorn. Then, you immediately hand the bowl of popcorn to a member of the audience for them to eat during the show.
It's visual... It's original... It's practical... It's seemingly impossible.
Use it as straight-up magic or incorporate the effect into your mentalism act. The routine options are bound only by your imagination!
On this DVD Nigel explains all the ins and outs of this fantastic new effect. The routine is broken down step-by-step in great detail, explaining the technique and purpose behind every move.
Nigel will also walk you through the process of making the gimmicks and will talk about the care and maintenance of the props involved. Keep in mind, this isn't difficult to make-up. Once you have the materials required you can have the effect up and running within an hour.

I bought this because I knew someone that loved popcorn so much that they wouldn't eat bag popcorn and would only eat the gourmet stuff they made with their popper. I bet them that I could get them to eat bag popcorn and this what I used to win the bet.
This is a pretty cool trick. How it is described is pretty much how it works. It is easy to perform. Two problems with it though earn it a 3. First the setting and situation aren't always that practical. i suppose it depends on who you are. I don't like popcorn so I never have any in my house.
Most importantly though, setting this up takes a long time and is a pain. I think you have to really want to perform this to go through the trouble.
So if you like popcorn or know someone who does you could invest in this, otherwise skip it.
