This is a very well made Hot Rod. I have heard people complain about other Hot Rod's that the gems fall out easily i.e. when it drops on the floor, but they stay in on this one (I have even experimented with this by throwing it on the floor, and the gems stayed on. Yes, I know that's probably not the smartest thing to do :) ).

As with all regular hot rods, this can be examined (if your patter allows it).

The size is slightly more than 3 inches long (which is why this is meant for close up). It is small enough to keep in a wallet, which is where I keep mine (it’s one of those tricks that are small enough to be carried around anytime, anywhere).

In conclusion: I would recommend this to anyone looking for a hot rod. It isn’t that much more expensive than a ‘cheaper’ one (a couple of dollars more), and is well worth it.
