For some routines it's great, but for the routine it bought it for, it's just too darned thick. Its
hard to conceal a couple spare knots in your hand (that were magically slipped off the end of a
knotted rope), when it's this size. I ran out of a smaller size, but can't remember the brand, or
where I bought it. The size I was hoping for, is the same as a pencil (unstretched) but Udays is
half again as big.

This is good rope, using it to make prof cheers with the proper rope instead of the acrylic rope I'm
using. If you're gonna use this for cut and restored consider another source. You can get more for
cheaper elsewhere, use google.

They make and provide inexpensive ways for a broke magician to perform expensive illusions...that
said, this is just rope, but you're not going to use it to parachute with, you're most likely like
me who just uses soft pliable rope to cut. The description of thickness would be nice and couple
more descriptions actually.

I bought this with Bob Sheet's "Hang em High" DVD and it works great. It has worked great for the
routine and I also use it for my other rope trick. It cuts easy and has been durable. It's really
hard to beat the price too.

The price was very reasonable with quick delivery. The rope is good quality; however, the more
expensive "bright white" rope is the best--albeit more expensive as well. I plan on using the rope
to make up a Professor Cheers effect and help a student interested in rope magic. Again, great
value for the price.

I tried out Uday's rope simply 'cause master magician Chris Capehart saw my pet rope routine(Thanks
Richard Sanders) and thought it was very good, but suggested I use magicians rope instead of home
depot's standard stuff. My first try was Uday's brand. I didn't like it for my application, but I'll
keep it for the cut and restored routine.(hence the 3 stars)Anybody got any suggestions for a better
quality magicians rope? My specific dislike is it doesn't slide across itself smoothly,it kills the
visual in fiber optics extended.

This rope is like Bicycle playing cards, there is a reason it is used by so many. Because when all
comes into account it is hard to beat, also white is a great color, it's very visible doesn't look
odd/gaffed. 50' is a great amount to buy as well it keeps you stocked for a while and is priced
really well!

Whenever I need rope I always get it in the largest amount I can. This rope is great, sturdy, soft
and in the best colour there is, white!
Magicians always need rope and this stuff is of the highest standard. I gig with this stuff and do street magic with it all the time. Did this review help you?
