I had wanted this DVD for a LONG time; maybe it was the ad campaign, Andrew Mayne's voice, or maybe it was just that I own and have NEVER been disappointed with one of his previous releases... Anyway, I finally picked up this DVD. Was it worth the hype I gave it?

...Yes.

This DVD is a FANTASTIC venture into thing that you can prepare with a deck of cards and do ANYWHERE. Close-up, Parlour... Stage, any effect you use with this will play HUGE. Not to mention the incredibly surprising impact.

This is an effect I WILL be doing. I really appreciated the detail he goes into with the things you can do with it, ways to make it examinable and tricks you can perform using the chain.

This is all without speaking of the price. $12 dollars on penguin for a VERY well-edited and put together DVD? DEFINITELY. This is something I recommend to ANYONE that wants a flashy addition to their repitoire; no matter what kind of magic you do.
