Tyas has been a headlining performer all across the country. From Aptos Theatre in California to Lincoln Center in New York, he has delighted literally thousands of audiences. Tyas resides in Las Vegas, NV and is featured in a show called Spotlight, a variety show at Bourbon Street Hotel & Casino, and at Beacher's Madhouse, a Comedy extravaganza at the Hard Rock Hotel. He is also the youngest Las Vegas headliner in his own show Mostly Magic.
Tyas started his entertainment career at the early age of 7 when he began entertaining at birthday parties. At the age of 13 he began working at his local magic shop which he later managed. He soon found himself performing for corporate events and schools in his home town of Santa Cruz. Immediately after graduating high school he became a Performing Arts teacher at Aptos Day Academy.
He wanted to increase his exposure so he moved to the Magic Capital of the World, Las Vegas. While still performing his magic he became recognized for his ability to escape from all forms of restraints and is now considered one of the top escape artists in the country. While escapes have become one of his audience's favorite shows, his first love is still magic. Tyas now averages more than 600 performances a year.
