This is decent enough. It teaches a couple of really good and popular false shuffles. The instruction is good enough, I suppose. I will say that the old Penguin Magic music in the background, (almost in the foreground), is repetitive, annoying and is actually a distraction. I find that it actually is a hinderance to learning. Really. It's that bad. You can't listen with the sound down, as you need to hear, not just see the explanations. So if you want to select this as your method for learning a false shuffle or two, be warned. The instruction is okay. It's not great, but it's not terrible. But the music isn't appropriate for, or conducive to, an instructional video and is mixed in at a loud enough volume to guarantee it as a distraction.

I can't say enough great things about this - and to be taught by Luke Jermay was an added treat. He's clear and the camera angles are great. This is essential learning and served as a much greater learning tool to be able to see it taught and performed in real time.

I really want to like this as I personally like Luke but this is a terrible production. Why does it need that noisy background music and very poor lighting?

The info was fine ... the lack of lighting is terrible. I can see (no pun intended) no reason to shoot a teaching video in the dark. It is hard to see the cards. There are shadows that block the cards. This information is available from other sources. I would not advise a friend to purchase this download. 2 stars for the information that I could see and no more.

If it was a little bit longer and did go at a slower pace than it would it definitely be there at 5 stars. But since it wasn't on DVD and did go so quickly, it wasn't.

But get this anyways, because it really is worth the money.

I found the dark atmosphere coupled with the incredibly annoying background music, strong accent and fast pace to be a difficult learning environment. I'm sure with repeated viewings it will get the job done but it could have been produced with much more clarity

This download is good because it's short and to the point. It describes the moves clearly. These are important basic moves for card magic. I would recommend it.

These cuts are by no means new, but you are paying for a skill that will be crucial to your career as a magician. The shuffles that you get here are usually offered elsewhere individually at a much higher price, so you are getting a pretty good deal here. Most of us magician usually just stick with the false cuts, but if you really want to sell the effect, you'll need to learn some good false shuffles.

If you watch this video and think to yourself,"Wow how does he do that" than dont hesitiate another second and hit add to cart because this an absolute necescity for every card magician. This is something you can use for everyday card magic and packs a huge punch.

This is a great value. You get multiple great, useful false shuffles. Don't get me wrong though! They definitely require some practice and patience, but it's DEFINITELY worth it! If you want to be good at card manipulation, I would definitely suggest this download!
