This is a great sponge ball / cylinder instructional dvd. Sankey does an excellent job teaching each technique and trick step-by-step. There isn't anything really ground breaking here though, just the new sponge shape. I actually liked the bonus tricks more. If you are new to sponges this can be a good dvd to learn from.
Otherwise maybe you can pass it up

Comedy

Ear Plugs are a cool alternative to the regular sponge balls. Depending on how you use them, they can add some comedy to your routine too. They are just as easy to handle and manipulate as the regular sponge balls and they squish nicely too. The only problem I have with them is the colour. Not that there is anything wrong with yellow, but it just isn't my personal favorite choice. As a bonus, Sankey also teaches you a few pretty cool effects that are done with other materials so basically you are getting a 2 for 1 deal here. If you'd like to change up your sponge routine, then pick some of these up.

amazing quality

These are awesome substitutes to sponge balls. Opening statement, flat out. Jay had these jumbo earplugs specially made to LAST!
I used to perform this as a full spongeball routine. They pack in your pockets but don't crease or fold, which is the best part of them. Most spongeballs just compress in your pocket and get all squarey. We don't want that. These will last. But I hate the jumbo load. It's way too big and bulky. Plus these are fairly thick material so it's really hard to palm more than one, let alone a FULL JUMBO ONE.
The DVD was really good. I think the introduction was one of the most interesting introductions to a magic DvD I've seen in a while. It's interesting to know how long ago this was originally filmed. But other than that, he goes very far into everything and teaches perfectly. Just grab the sponges and rock out.
Finally, the bonus section! Usually I don't like his bonus effects. But these were cool. The do as I do is awesome, as is re:cap. They are practical tricks and break the mood sort of, so it's fun to watch. Other than that, I should rate this as a 5. Good luck!

These are great to use as a sponge routine. Sankey teaches some great routines and moves and it is fun to perform. I always carry this on me when I do close up.
