At age seven my friend got a 1962 Adam's Magic Set for Christmas, and he showed me a few tricks from it. One of the ones that he did was the Ball Vase, and I was floored and had no clue how the ball could have vanished and appeared in his pocket. Luckily his interest in magic was short-lived and he asked if I wanted to buy the set. I offered him $3.00 and he thought that was a steal. That was the beginning of a 35 year journey that continues till this day, and 25 years and counting as a professional. So this little piece of apparatus will always be special to me. Some think this is just a "kid's trick" but it is not. I have used this in adult shows for over 35 years as well as the Egg Vase and I also have my own sucker effect for those who may know it. Most of the time no one has any clue. Just because you got a magic set as a kid does not mean everyone else did. It also does not mean they even remember how it worked. You are only limited by your own creativity and intelligence. Elderly people also love this. No trick is just "for kids" or any other demographic, it is all about how you present them.

This everyone should have it's very easy and just amazing I made my sister so confused and she normaly figures out all my tricks but this one blew her mind it's so simple and so easy I can't stress this enough and if you want to take it to another level watch Charlie Frye perform the Ball and Vase routine just amazing.

Like a lot of British kids I got one of these in my Paul Daniel's magic set. I love the trick because it's fun and easy. Obviously it's not something for a professional routine but just for a laugh it's allright.

If you don't mind carrying some extra stuff, besides a deck of cards then this is a cute little trick. This trick works well with kids but don't expect to get big reactions from your adult audience.

Another great thing about this trick is that afterwards, you can hand it out for the kids to examine. It isn't expensive so if you are trying to build your collection of kids tricks, then add this to your next order.

WHo hasn't heard of the ball and vase trick? This trick is great and very cheap. Highly recommended, especially since it's below 5$. Brings back old times.

The creators were very tricky and creative with this one. You need to be good with your hands for this one. Not examinable at the end. But very good trick to have.
