This everyone should have it's very easy and just amazing I made my sister so confused and she normaly figures out all my tricks but this one blew her mind it's so simple and so easy I can't stress this enough and if you want to take it to another level watch Charlie Frye perform the Ball and Vase routine just amazing.
This is a staple in almost every kids' magic set you've ever seen. The only reason to buy this is if you have a young child, and you want to give them a trick they can use on their 7 year old friends. But even for that purpose, you're far better off just buying one of those sets. I don't see any reason for anyone to go out of their way to purchase this as a single-effect, unless maybe the one they got in their magic kit broke.
Hi. This is your official PenguinMagic reviewer, B_Magic.
This is a classic novice effect! It's weird because I give it 2 stars because it really isn't a strong piece of magic at all. It's hokey, unnatural, and really not anything that will get strong reactions from most performers. However, I rated it as "I like it" because of all the fond memories I have messing around and performing this when I was a kid.
Parents, this is something you might think about buying your child who wants to be a magician one day. It really is a fun thing for them. Everyone else, you may be wasting your money on this. I think you can invest your hard-earned money on many, many other Penguin products and be getting a lot more for your $$$.

An old'un but a good'un.

Like a lot of British kids I got one of these in my Paul Daniel's magic set. I love the trick because it's fun and easy. Obviously it's not something for a professional routine but just for a laugh it's allright.

Another great pocket trick

If you don't mind carrying some extra stuff, besides a deck of cards then this is a cute little trick. This trick works well with kids but don't expect to get big reactions from your adult audience.
Another great thing about this trick is that afterwards, you can hand it out for the kids to examine. It isn't expensive so if you are trying to build your collection of kids tricks, then add this to your next order.
