This is Andrew Mayne, so we already know it's good. When I picked this up however, I had no idea HOW good it would be.

This DVD lasts only about 20 minutes of FULL HD. Is that a bad thing? NOT AT ALL. It goes DEEPLY into detail about each of the 4 productions presented on here in addition to the concept that can be applied to a myriad of other things!

This is a crazily versatile concept with STRIKINGLY fooling and visual original routines. I enjoyed this DVD thoroughly and this effect is DEFINITLY going into my show. Included on the DVD are close-up, stand up and parlour versions, all of which are VERY practical.

In addition it is CHEAP. Only 15 dollars for one of the best, most versatile productions out there today?

This effect will get you paid! If you are looking to make money with magic or you do so already, then do not overlook this trick! It hits hard and a beginner can do it. A great closer or an opener. This trick alone has gotten me gigs and it's the one that people talk about the most. At $15 the price is right as you will get paid over and over with this trick.

You will be able to perform the effect exactly as seen on the demo within 5 minutes. My first attempt was flawless and really blew minds, and I'm a rank amateur. Easy but ingenious, and the instruction is excellent. You can pull together what you need to perform this anywhere for a few bucks, and there are a million variations one could apply to the technique. Worth every penny.

Although I like Andrew Mayne's Weird Things and iTricks, I don't typically like his tricks that he markets. I didn't like Touching Sky, and I haven't heard good things about In Half or the Origami Effect. This trick is the exception. I performed this effect at my high school's variety show, and it killed. No one talked about the other tricks that I included in my routine; this was the hit. You might be looking at the trailer and wondering why there are all of the camera cuts in it. It's not to obscure methodology; you see all of the dirty work in the trailer. When you get the DVD, you'll watch the explanation and wonder, "Is this really going to fool anyone?" The method is so bold that I was most nervous about this than any of my other tricks in my act in the variety show, but as I said earlier, this was remembered and discussed by my audience much more than the five-bill repeat and insta-cube that I did. Best of all, this is EASY! If you have enough strength to lift a bowling ball (I can't image someone who doesn't), then you can perform this effect. I highly recommend this product.

This is a little gem of a DVD. The method is simple and ingenious---and it's cheap to boot. It is short, but everything is explained in sufficient detail. It's a fast routine, and you only get one shot at it, so make sure you do it properly so that your audience will understand what just happened. Great trick!!

Andrew Mayne is a very good teacher, he takes you by hand and doesn't let you go until he has told you everything there is to know about his tricks.
This one is no exception.

Love this from Andrew. I use it as my opener. Very easy to do, easy to perform and you can easily put your own twist and variations to it. Andrew gives you a few ideas on this very short, no frills DVD. but you can apply it to any show you're doing.

I've been doing it for YEARS.

Not that it's not a GREAT EFFECT.. it IS.. But it's not new.

First of all, I've been a Penguin customer for years and years. Out of all the years I've purchased their items this is the first time I've ever taken the time to write a review.

Why? Because Andrew Mayne produced a great DVD with great and innovative ideas resulting in tricks with all sorts of variations that are easy to do. There are a couple of nuances you need to focus on to make the tricks more effective, but overall they are all very easy and very effective. You can focus more on the patter and the production rather than worry about the trick going wrong.

I cannot recommend this any higher. Gotta buy. Good job, Andrew.
