I did not like the gimmick with this trick at all. With some makeup work it might be effective, but that takes away from the ability to be spontaneous. I do like the the ability to create the blood flow, it could be used many ways. I already freaked out my wife, it was great. I wouldn't recommend buying this, to me... it is not worth the price.

the gimmick itself is too bulky it sticks too far out and looks fake. it looks nothing like the one in the video. the only way this can be believable is if you are a football stadium length away.

This trick actually fooled almost everyone I showed it to, but I'm sorry to report that someone caught on and decided to ruin the trick for everyone else (she took the knife away from me under the pretense of "washing it" - she continued to make the rest of the visit unbearable on purpose, so she knew what she was doing). My advice would be not to allow anyone near you while you're doing this, period. I was across the room from the rest of the group, but the person ran up to me and grabbed the knife from me.

My next trick will be to make her disappear.

I DID'NT REALLY LIKE FLESH WOUND, THE GIMMICK FLESH IS NOT VERY REALISTC. FOR ME THE WHOLE SET UP AND ROUTINE IS OK. I PERFER NEEDLE THROUGH THE ARM TI'S A LOT MORE REALISTIC LOOKING AND MUCH EASYIER TO DO.

1ST THE EXPLANTION IS SHORT AND SWEET AND SOME OF THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE WRITTEN, WHILE HE TALKS. THE WHOLE DVD IS MAYBE 10 MINIUTES OR SO. I CAN SEE HOW THIS WOULD BE HARD TO DO AND PULL IT OFF. IF YOU GET COUGHT YOUR GOING TO LOOK BAD. SO IF YOU WANT TO DO IT, IF THE PEOPLE WANT TO SEE ANOTHER TRICK, BY NOW THEY THINK THEY HAVE YOU HAD. SO IF I WAS GOING TO ADD THIS TO A SET I WOULD DO A REALLY GOOD COIN OR CARD TRICK BEFORE AND AFTER AND MAYBE THE CROUD WON'T BOTHER YOU AT THE BOTCHED WOUND TRICK. IF YOU CAN PULL IT OFF SMOOTHLY WITHOUT A HICH IT MIGHT BE GOOD. I THINK THE NEEDLE THROUGH THE ARM IS MUCH BETTER. I USED TO DO IT ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO AND IT WENT WELL. I THINK THE PRICE IS WAY TO HIGH FOR A SHORT DVD AND JUST OK GIMMICKS.

Love it and have used it quite a bit already. As with all tricks it takes practice to pull it off without a hitch, but this one is easy to master.
