Nickles to Dimes is a great and fun beginner magic effect, and one most magicians I think may have stashed somewhere in their collection. When I was starting out, I had a lot of fun with this one, but it is a novice effect.
For more serious magic, this isn't that thing to get. Reactions won't be very serious because of the unnaturalness of the device, and the effect is fun and engaging but not miracle-status. It comes across in most performances as a neat little mysterious puzzle than a full blown feat of magic.

Again this is a very well made trick, very easy to do, my 4 year old can do it, but the reactions are great, also works with canadian currency which I like.

A clever little trick. If you enjoy using little pocket tricks in your routine, then I would pick this up. It is so simple and easy to perform. The reactions you'll get from this won't be over the top but usually people will like it. In the end, it can be handed out for inspection. The only downside is that it doesn't instantly reset, at least not in front of the spectators. Overall, this is a great trick and recommended for beginning magicians.
