The Effect Two black and white brass poker chips ( the size of half dollars ) are shown front and back. Then the chips change to four different colors right before your eyes! All is then handed out for examination. The apparatus comes in a black presentation box. Color Deception is the finest of it's kind!

This is a pretty nice effect. The gimmicks are reliable, and they actually do hold up to moderate scrutiny, even though you don't end up clean, despite what the demo video claims.
It's very easy to do... no sleights required. The only problem is that these things look like magic props. There's nothing organic about them. This draws attention and suspicion, and even though they can be examined a bit, like I said, you do not end clean. A spectator is going to look at items like this and automatically assume there's some sort of gimmick involved.
A similar effect is CAPtivated. It's the same sort of effect where an item appears to change, it uses a similar type of gaff, but the difference is that bottle caps ARE a very common, natural item, which adds to the magic, and in that routine, you do end totally clean. Also, the change can happen in the spectator's hand, which is always a bonus.
Plus it's a whole lot cheaper. So if you like the general idea of this routine, I'd take a look a CAPtivated first before pulling the trigger on this one.

Here is a great trick that is so small that you can carry it anywhere. Watch as the colours change on both disks, both sides. It's pretty tricky and I don't think your audience will figure it out. Don't expect the reactions to be huge with this one. From my experiences, the spectators mostly just "ooo" and "aah". Aside from that, it's a great little trick.

I like to have a product that does all the work, and this is one. Very fun to perform and people react well also you can hand it out for inspection that blows people away.

I LOVE these things. Many years ago, my friend performed it on me and I had no idea how they worked. I got into magic about a year and a half ago, but I finally purchased them. At first, I was skeptical of the high price, but after getting them, I would gladly pay (seriously) two times as much. The gimmick is awesome--nobody ever expects it. My friends will see me do it, then I do something "suspicious." When they ask to see it again, I avoid that "suspicious" thing, and they are stunned. Maybe 1 person will figure it out after MAYBE and hour of hard inspecting. The brass works well, but the gimmick occasionally doesn't function properly (people who purchased it know what I mean!) Either way, this trick is superb.
ADD TO CART!! IT IS AWESOME!!!!

My Dad did this one on me several years ago. It was so good that when I got into magic it was one of the first things I remembered. Don't underestimate the effect, people will flip when there is no longer black and white. Problems include about a 10 second reset, slight preperation, and a reason to show people the trick (patter).
