The Effect A deck of cards is cut in half and a spectator takes one of the piles. The performer spreads the other half of the deck face up and asks the spectator to merely think of any card that they see. These cards are squared and left face up on the table.
The magician claims that he will make the card the spectator is simply thinking of to vanish from the magician's half and reappear in the cards spectator is holding. Without even asking which card the spectator thought of, the magician then deals through all of his cards and the spectator's selection is gone! The spectator names the card, deals through the cards in her hands and finds her card!

I really like this one... it plays just as the description reads... and thanks to the gaffed cards, absolutely no sleights are required. And despite how easy this is to perform, you will get great reactions from this. Generally, I like to evaluate effects in terms of "spectator reaction" vs. "ease of performance"; on that scale, you'll be hard-pressed to find an effect that rates as highly as this one.
A word about the gaffed cards: I'm always concerned about effects that leave gaffed cards on the table... in the video, Sankey downplays this paranoia, but still offers a means of cleaning up that should work fine.
All in all, I recommend this one very, very highly.
Haha, my little sister is performing this as if she were a professional card magician! If she can do it, anyone can! There really is no sleight, everything is "self-doing".

I've watched this demo video a couple times now and figured it out but the one move is so well disguised with subtle misdirection that if performed once is almost impossible to pick up even to the trained eye, I wouldn't buy it if I had the equipment needed but it would probably cost twice as much just to get the right "cards" for this trick ???
